The more the patches, the more Grimgor is surrounded by more and more powerfull enemies that hates his guts (Greasus, Kholek, all the chorfs, and Tamurkhan too now). Basically he's now the green BIG Rambo fighting alone in the mountains against everyone around.

Tbh besides Kholek and may be Tamurkhan - there is no real threat (even with SFO mod) for grimgor. I mean, chorfs AI is bad, they run with slaves for 20 turns on legendary.

Counter point: Saved Lords with Tamurkhan's trait. This gives every faction a big boost for Heroes for the player. AI doesn't farm defeat traits anyway so this is mostly a boost for player.

I'm pretty sure abilities like scavenge don't stack, the last hero with whatever embedded effect they give is what the army gets. If you click on the main lord and hover over the little gold icon with a plus it tells you what effect is being applied. And by pretty sure I mean it definitely 100% doesn't stack, unless there's the ui is actually bugged but that'd be the first time I've ever heard that.

I'm pretty sure you can't stack the scavenge hero embeded effect, so only one goblin big boss is enough. And how can you get four black orc big bosses on turn two? Tamurkhan is close to Grimgor but not that close.

I broke it even more, before running an Empire campaign I did a runner and farmed his trait, then I took the same level one lords and farmed all the research traits in another. 400% research rate and 30 hero slots by turn 10 makes legendary a rather comfortable experience.🤣

Id say Tomb Kings too, but think they have a cap on heroes? I know some mods can increase it, so Ive no idea if its in vanilla at this point.

At least this is no buffs to his ai but yeah it hurts to see grimgor even stronger, but I guess I can't really feel it because I been using to grant everyone more starting capacity since I played kislev in 1.0 and couldn't get my ice maiden heroes with katarin

Grimgor is nice since he's closer to Tammie, but I'm more interested doing this with Snikch and Draz. They may not be in the most optimal position to take advantage of this, but those two are my go-to campaigns in that area.

honestly dont think it really is a big benefit for grimgor, he would have to trudge into chaos wastes and then stay there with lords to farm the trait and you said it yourself that greenskins dont have a issue with hero capacity.

The real benefit is being able to load them in a new campaign and spam black orc heroes from turn 1

I think Grimgor is my fastest campaign - expansion wise. Although I’m playing as Tamurkhan at the moment and I have 250 settlements by turn 125, so double at 125 is fast, I’ll have to play Grimgor to see who is faster to double (that’s normally when I grow bored of the campaign and start again, but I need to play new Empire first).

How is this not just playing with cheats at this point? You might as well have just downloaded a mod that removes hero capacity. AR mods are not cheating because anyone could fight the battles manually it's just a preference. For fun purposes, power should be A or B tier, but that might just be my preference. Tomb Kings will really benefit from having unlimited heroes.

Man you spend soooooo long getting to each point " other legendary lords... but for grimgore, not.other legendary lords, like blah blah who can blah blah, but grim gore, how is unique, can do this thing that other lords cant, blah blah .... you need to get to the point quicker. It is so painful
