Yes!The Merced County Sheriff Department has prove to be a great department. This recent crime has been strinkinling devastating for many people in the central valley including myself. The strength and determination the law enforcement officers bestowed to solving this case is admirable. They serve our community by enduring what many of us can't endure. The detectives involved witness at first hand the tragic scenes and event that unfolded. They become strong and endure the most devastating crimes for us the citizen so we do not have to witness such things like they do. Their courage is amazing.

Probably not so much cold as *hot.* The daytime temps in Dos Palos CA this past week have been in the mid to high 90's. She likely died of dehydration or even overheating. The nightime temperature seems to have been close to 60, cool enough to make her uncomfortable, but I doubt that is cold enough to have killed her.

Forced their 2 teenage girls to jump into the pool.... Told 'em not to call the cops or he'll come back and kill 'em..... The couple called police and the suspect served 8 years in prison..... If you look at the requirements for violent offenders, they are minuscule compared to repeat nonviolent crimes usually conducted by minors. This was so hard to watch and I am crying too. This poor innocent baby left to die in the cold next to dead parents, my god. How can any human being do this. Even animals will comfort a child. Horrific execution of an entire family. Decent, hardworking Sikh family, starting out on their life journey. The poor uncle too, all so young. My heart breaks for their parents who lost their grandchild and both children and the brother. What a piece of work this Salgado guy. A complete criminal. How can anyone do this for a dispute. Rob them but don't kill them. I'm reeling from this news. Awful, awful news and terrible outcome. My mind cannot get over these senseless acts. This case seem to have nothing to do with a cartel. The murderer/suspect simply can't handle being told no, getting fired, nor rejected. The suspect was previously convicted served 8yrs in prison, for a case along the same lines. He had previously worked for an employer who fired him. He tied up owner's family and made them jump in a swimming pool. I am just speechless to how brutal his approach was in this murder case. This case seem to have hatred mixed with revenge.

Judging by the names of the victims, they are Sikh (of India descent). Sikhs have a reputation of being hard workers; they have good character and integrity and are tough as nails. Their religion teaches them to defend and care for vulnerable people, and they are strongly family oriented and loyal. Believe me, these are the people you want to have as neighbors. They are faithful, kind and love justice. Knowing this, the kidnapping and murder of this family is that much more tragic and saddening.

They most likely cheated the worker out of some money. This isn’t the victims fault no matter what they did but good people aren’t normally handled this way unless they did something unforgivable to a child, stole money or it’s drugs. They probably overworked him, stole his money and mocked him.

We know nothing about the victims; I don't see any hint (so far) that implicates this kidnapped and murdered family overworked, stole money from, and mocked their murderer. Who is to say what the motive was? Extortion attempt gone bad? Maybe a ransom wasn't paid? The news is reporting that the suspect was a former driver for the family/trucking company; maybe he thought he could squeeze this family for some big $$$? "Good people aren't normally handled this way"... that's what makes this case unusual and newsworthy. A lot of bad stuff happens to innocent, un-deserving 'good people' in this World. Ask the Sandy Hook families, Emmit Till, Ahmaud Arbery. This murdered family should be treated fairly and as victims of a horrendous crime, unless we learn otherwise.
