Vigil held for Merced family who were kidnapped and killed

Loved ones of four family members, who were kidnapped and killed this week, were left speechless Thursday night at a vigil for the victims. Prayers amongst the Sikh community and other faith leaders comforted those who attended the event in Merced.

He used to work for them and got fired and then he took revenge. Monster! It is better to have a thousand enemies outside of your home then one in your home. This guy betrayed that family. They probably fired him because they most likely saw something in him or he was probably just a bad guy who needed help but never got it. This was a cold-blooded crime. All that knew this family is in agony and sorrow. This ex-employee had a criminal history and was angry over money he claimed was his. So he decided to kidnap this innocent family in retaliation and gun them down. He spared no one. Not even the baby survived. The victims were good hearted hardworking people of this trucking company and didn't deserve to die like this. My prayers to them and to all the truckers and their families out there.

This is heart breaking. My best friend is Sikh. I know it's too late, but I wonder could more have been done to prevent this tragedy. When I study the surveillance footage at the trucking yard, I see a few key points where the brothers could have launched an attack on the suspect. As a warrior you have to be prepared to make the bold sacrifice against evil, even if that means putting your life on the line. The dog should have been free to roam the property first and foremost. One of the men should have been armed, even with their dagger they wear for their religion. I know it's easy to say what we all could have done from our keyboard however this crime has angered many people in my community, and this must never be allowed to happen again. Rest in paradise to all of them especially the baby girl. Peace love and blessings to everyone in this comment section and please be vigilant, we are living in the last days.
