Ministry of higher education & ICAI together must think about it, Because they all are very well know that CA syllabus is most tough than that of B.Com & M.Com; Once CA aspirants candidate get passed 'CA intermediate' , this qualifications must get equivalent status of B.Com. & Onward once this candidate get passed CA Final that time they must get equivalences of M.Com by automatically. So that these peoples further go for another professional qualifications like LLB,ICWA,CS or IRS preparations or for any international study. It's urgent need of dual degree programme options for CA aspirants.

I did my undergrad B.Com from a mediocre college which didn't need regular attendance just so i could focus on clearing IPCC and articleship. Looking back i think it is one of the biggest regrets of my life seriously. You get one chance at doing an undergrad degree in your life guys, make it worth it. Trust me your life will be so much better with the experience of studying from a Tier-1/2 college, even if it potentially delays your CA journey by 6 months/1 year.

I would say focus on ca inter exams for now and give bcom exams in backlog. As for attendance, try persuading college staff to manage attendance as you have articleship duties. If they don't agree, then shift to correspondence from ignou no option.

Going to college is a waste of time. My BSc degree was a complete waste of three years and I understood it only after wasting another two years doing MSc. Instead build a skill or join a course which have relevance in real life.

@@salonijoshi1357 Definitely go for regular bcom if the college is reputed (on a sidenote, if it's a top tier college like srcc etc. you would do well even if you stay away from CA entirely, complete bcom and do an MBA from a good B school, way way bigger packages/opportunities than CA). Keep preparing for ca inter and give exams along with bcom. Also enquire in your college what kind of additional facilities/services they provide to students pursuing CA along with bcom. Eg - some colleges have specific placement cells for CA articleship where top CA firms look to hire articles (only if the college is top tier mostly). Also, you need to be clear with your college about your attendance situation once your articleship starts. Hope this helps you.

Results for CUET will be released on 1sep and before 1sep, all colleges which are taking admission on merit base will close their admissions.
