I like his playfulness with words. This is my first time listening to Calloway. Hes one of my faves now for sure 🖤 if you guys have any other people of jazz to listen to let me know, this is so fun.

Shout out to Cab Callaway and Wilona from Good times (Ms Janet Dubios)🥰❤️🖤💚 I'm a huge fan of both so it was no surprise to me that Ms Dubios is his daughter, she was always singing and dancing on Good times 🥰❤️🖤💚 rip to the both of them ❤️🖤💚

Hi Di Ho and Minnie the Moocher are Cab Calloway's most famous recordings. He was so popular they immortalized him in Cartoons which is an accomplishment. Now, every generation can learn about him. Even little children, if their parents enlighten them as my mother did her children. This was my sisters favorite by Cab Galloway.

I was a kid in the mid-70s and Pop took me to his concert in SF on NYE and he rocked the house like 1934. This was just after the Blues Bros so he was cool again but I already knew who he was. He was hip and cool before all of the rest...
