You've made a great video of this most beautiful Swiss Mountain Railway! I have one request - this Rhaetian Railway "Crocodile Locomotive" and its train of vintage carriages is worth taking a video (or at least a photograph) of in their own right - were you able to video or take photos of this train from which you made your video? It would be great to be able to see what this train looks like, as well as to know when this "Crocodile" locomotive was built (my guess is sometime in the 1920s).

@joscallinet6260 Yes, I was able to record and take photographs during the whole journey with this historical train. It was really a great experience. I definitely recommend doing this trip. They run a couple of times per year and it is a whole day journey with long stops. Normally this trip is made with the steam train, but this year, because of the open fire ban, the journey was made with Crocodile loco. The Crocodile regularly makes historical journeys between Filisur and Davos. You can find the first two videos of that same trip (Davos circular route) in my videos - Cab ride on Davos Circular Tour / Landquart - Davos Platz in Switzerland 4K (August 2022) Part 1 and Cab ride on Davos Circular Tour / Davos Platz - Thusis in Switzerland 4K (August 2022) Part 2. In those videos you can see the short recordings from the interior of the locomotive in the first video. In the second video you can see the whole train recorded with the drone passing the Wiesen viaduct and another passing the Landwasser viaduct. The Rhaetian Railway purchased the first few "Crocodile Locomotive" Ge 6/6 in 1921and the last ones in 1929. They owned 15 of those locomotives.

@@RailRelaxation These are the so called "Baby Crocodiles" since they are running on meter gauge. The "classic" Crocodiles running on standard gauge can still be seen on St Gothard line. They are actually slightly bigger.

Très belle vidéo avec les bruits typique de ces crocodiles L’indicateur d’altitude ne sert pas à grand chose, les variations sont trop erratiques et souvent fausses Merci pour cette vidéo
