Cabin Altitude: Controllable or Uncontrollable

Very well done. I can't understand why your videos don't get more views as they deserve more attention. Having done an emergency descent on the 737 due to pressurisation control issues, I think it was very relevant to highlight the pressurisation panel indications as you did (Delta P and cabin rate). Indeed, with positive control of the outflow valve recovered and normal bleed air supply, the cabin rate will indicate full deflection and delta P is a key indication to check (under stress, it's easy for a chap to become fixated on cabin rate and overlook delta P so it's really important that everyone understands that already on the ground without stress. My captain back in the day couldn't understand that we were repressurising at very high rate and ordered an emergency descent).

As you already know, trying to identify if the cabin press is under control or not just checking the climb rate can be tricky. If the cabin is controllable and the climb rate is indicating full deflection down, the indication is pretty similar to the indication of full deflection up. The differential pressure is the key indication to understand what is going on, and probably that is the reason its pointer is the biggest one.
