The amount of detail in these demos are amazing. It's so easy to get lost in time walking around Demo 401, sometimes it's hard to believe what you're looking at isn't reality. Amazing work on everything so far, keep it up!

I can't wait for DEMO 401 coming to STEAM in 2023 - Finally. Thanks for all the work and updates so far. I told so many of my Steam-Friends about it and it would be really cool to have a 2-player feature where y could walk and explore that demo together. Plus some sort of minimap or Deck Plan in Pause menu would be a helpfull feature. And may I suggest to add some toggle information boxes same way as on the Britannic Sinking Demo - so much detail information given there. I would still dare to get a little glimps (open window/door) look into the bridges Navigation/Chart Room or Captain Smith's Cabin when this demo is released. All best wishes and thanks for this project. Words cant discribe the time and passion everyone involved is spending on this historic effort.

You know, the ability to explore the entirety of the Titanic in a video rendition will be monumental and truly pay homage to her Honor and Glory! The fantastic detail and rendering of every square inch of that ship, right down to the rivets is an awesome undertaking, nothing short of spectacular, can't wait until this simulation goes gold!

It's unbelievably ridicolous how this whole project still is unfinished and will likely never be finished. This demo has just 40% of the contingent game in future. It was easier and faster to build the real Titanic. This here is Star Citizen 2, a game that exists only to be non-existent. When will this game be ready? 15 April 2112? We wait like 10 years of that and you can't do it. Scrap the (often unrealistic) graphics and objects. Finish the complete ship and we want a realistically fluid engine that sink the ship. Then most people would pay up to $100 and more to purchase it.

Yeah and keep in mind that they are delivering us videos and picture which look quite good over YEARS but no substantial progress has happened in form of a release. Not even a pre-early version where you can at least explore the ship (mustn't include all interior or even the sinking...just something). There is one picture on their website which shows the 1st class dinning room sinking. But that is from a real time sinking animation back in 2015! What has happened since then? How can they take this long with all the apparent content they showed us? In my opinion, they are just trying to keep the people excited with this pseudo-content they show us. This project is most likely derailed already, perhaps turned out to be scam. I don't expect this to ever get released. They can't expect us to wait decades for this. Even some indie games have achieved much more in this time span. I have absolutely ZERO trust in those guys.

Great work, That being said, there is often too much reflexions and sometimes reflexions on materials that don't reflect, such as the bed sheets. I also noticed the lamps weren't plugged.

Agree. The material on bed sheets is bad but what's worse is the mesh. It makes it look like a polished plank of wood. The mesh should be a lot more organic and imperfect, and material a bit more matte. If they fix that little thing they're golden IMO, the rest looks good.

@@Ulysses182 The red bed cover would likely have been a silk satin quilt, which would be reflective. The white pillows (brocade weave) are not reflective, nor are any of the other fabrics on the chairs etc.

i suppose with these being old assets, sometimes even placeholders maybe, theres bound to be areas of higher quality and lower quality. im just happy to have something to look forwards to before the alpha

Im HOPING this is a still a work in progress as for me personally, I feel the wood is TOO SHINY.. Almost like they got 10 coats of varnish to them so for me they LOOK like a game. All the other rooms so far so SO realistic and to me the Extreme glossy wood makes it appear CGI. Also there are some odd light glitches that occur on the edges of the panels i noticed.. But overall, can't wait to see it finally finished. :-)

I was a big big Titanic lover as a kid. The early documentaries right after they found her, the touring exhibits that came later. Touching the side of the ship they brought up. But if I could have seen this as a kid I would have thought I’d died was on the ship in heaven. Thank you so much for your work team.
