After several days playing with the pedestal, I can confirm it is really easy to move the marquee. The pedestal is indeed huge and slim at the same time. Daniël is a fantastic person to work with, so was the collaboration with his designer. Thank you for the built Sir. My littles ones are having a heck of a good time playing king of monsters, ghouls'n ghost or street of rage etc... on it ;-) Merry Christmas to all of you retrogamers :-)

@@Deathunder Hi. The honor is for Daniel ;-) I just gave the theme and some ideas and he did all the rest. As for the TV, I purchased a 49" C2 from LG. This fits perfectly from a width point of view and the screen is just perfect imao. A bit no shiny enough in eco mode, but if you don't keep it on eco mode, than it shines. I got it during black friday with 60% discount so I managed to keep the price not too high

Prachtige over de top arcade, compliment! Enige wat me een beetje stoort zijn de metalen logo's van de ventilatoren, het biohazard logo. Staat ook voor o.a. gif, virussen, mensen die hiv positief zijn. In mijn ogen het enige jammere en wellicht aan te passen. Well done arcade, ben jaloers!

Amazing machines, I don't even know why I suddenly got that urge to build something like this. Never was in a Arcade (we don't even have any around here) and only know them from old 90s cartoons. Your videos are a great guidline and inspiration, still have some leftover PC parts which should do a great job in a DIY Arcade. There is still a lot for me to figure out, like where do I get someone who prints me some neat artwork and how I can achieve the best bang for the buck (currently I try to design something like your pedestral with a TV mount right behind it so I can focus my energy on a really cool controll panel and don't have to bother with really big pieces of wood and stuff like speakers etc.). Maybe I could also make a frame around the TVwith an extra glasspanel from an old table or something to achieve a bit more of a premium look. Anyway, great video mate! Hope you keep me motivated with more amazing builds, since it will probably take a bit of time for me to conduct my researches.

Hi, I am the owner of the pedestal and I have personaly used a TV mount with a 49" inch screen. It fits perfectly and looks better than I thought ;-) I think it is not compulsory to put a frame if the screen size fits and with Daniël's panel width, 49" inches are the best size IMAO

Amazing pieces of art. Have you considered (if it's possible?) to have a switch on pedestals for alternating screen positioning, so that if you turn the screen for pac man and such, you can flip a switch, so the computer start casting for an upright standing screen?

Hello, I heard that you do custom arcade cabinets and wonder if you do commissions? I've seen some of your work and you basically already do it how I've always dreamed that I'd do mine one day. I have always dreamed of the ultimate pedastool running hyperspin with every emulator under the sun, and have always wanted to do like a custom sega vs nintendo clashing as a tribute to the bygone super nintnedo vs sega genesis Era which was my introduction to gaming.
