CABLE SIZE SELECTION FOR RUN MOTOR

In this video we explain cable or wire size selection to run single phase and 3 phase induction motor
Basically for selection cable size first calculate full load current of motor than add voltage drop which could be 2 or 2.5%
Than select cable which matel u required copper cable or aluminium cable
Than u can easily select cable basically for copper cable we can take 6 amp in 1 sq mm cable
And for aluminium cable u can take 4 amp of 1 sq mm cable

correct me if im wrong since i dont understand your language, from the size wiring aluminum you used 6A as denominator , coz that was 3ph,415V from given i gez must divide at 4A to get 4mm² to be exact for a 10hp motor.

Please check the voltage drop calculation , you have calculated by % of full load current which not correct.Voltage drop for single phase = 2 x full load current x (R cos θ x X sin θ ) x length / 1000Voltage drop for three phase = square root 3 x full load current x (R cos θ x X sin θ ) x length / 1000 Voltage drop for DC = 2 x full load current x R x length / 1000 Please refrain to post wrong concepts...
