For the natural cage video, a lot of people were complaining because you didn't show the hammie running around in the cage. I remember they said it was disappointing. I, myself, enjoyed the audio and watching you set it up :)

Organic/whole wheat is all ways better but all purpose or really anykind of flour works. :)

I've used all kinds in these projects and personally I've not noticed a difference in the result so I don't think it matters. Although if you use the wholegrain flour with the little brown speckles in it then your paper mâché project will also have those speckles :)

I love the asmr videos, really enjoyed the raw sound cage tour (so much so it took me quite a few attempts to watch it because I just kept falling asleep it was so relaxing!) I find that music can be very irritating, distracting and often too loud on lots of youtube videos I watch, so the raw sound stuff is a breath of fresh air :)

Asmr, as I understand it, is a type of video meant to calm and feel good and relax. No music, either quiet or soft voice. All you hear are the organic noises from what's happening, so for unboxing asmr, all you'd hear is them the sound of the box opening, plastic crinkling etc. But there's also situational asmr where someone roleplays situations, or even just satisfying things like cutting soap. All in all, asmr is meant to relax and calm through things that one might find satisfying without the added music of voiceover KZbin videos usually have... That's the best I can explain, hope it helps!

Interesting that you found raw sound relaxing because to me it’s exactly opposite. I find them absolutely irritating to point off maddening. I highly prefer some neutral background music or much more preferable is to have commentary. I like hearing people explaining what they are doing or why they are. I find it inspiring and helpful even if end doing something very different because often results are less helpful for my own problems than logic behaind them. Like this caktus pot could be made with minor adjustments into the already mentioned hot air ballon or giant egg in nest.

This might sound dumb, but if I use the food coloring as paint should I mix it with something as a base? Like maybe the flour and water mixture or just water? Lol I know it’s dumb but I literally don’t know 😂

Not dumb at all! You certainly can do that if you want to thicken it up or even dilute the colour to something paler, if you mix it with the flour glue I would suggest using a little less water so it's more pasty like paint :)

ThatOneChick Watch victoriarachel’s and Erinsanimal’s video about losing your hamster. I hope you find them. Turn all he lights off and be very quite. You’ll probably hear your hamster somewhere and can get em. (when my hamster escaped she went straight for the vents, shes okay though) Just try not think about it either, As long as you’ve done everything you can so far, worrying wont do anything. Hope all that helped, I hope your furry friend finds their way home.

I tried to make flour glue papier mache once before, I left it to dry out and it was just wet for days and all moulded. Do you think I used too many layers?

It's possible, if you live in a cooler climate I would suggest letting it dry after every 2nd or 3rd layer before adding more. I have also found that if you just dip the tissue into the glue it gets too wet and takes much longer to dry so I switched to applying it with a brush and that seems to make the whole thing dry much more quickly, so maybe you could try that :)
