I’ve found broken pieces of cactus at the box stores that I’ve brought home and propagated.

My sister-in-law and I swap plants and she recently gave me a rooted pup from a Haworthia with green/white stripy leaves and I’m looking forward to it growing its own pups. Thanks as always for an excellent informative video.

Great video Ana!!! I think these types of haworthias are great all around plants!! I always recommend these to beginners cause they take abuse!! Low light, drought, sun , and as we see, very prolific!! Those variagated ones are the bomb!!! Awesome!!! Love your staging!!! Great job!!! Someone's getting some super awesome gifts!!! Those are really fantastic!!! I have quite a few. Nothing near what Daz has!!! You are right, when it comes to haworthias, he's the man!!! Haworthias are so nice and easy, we even have a bowl of three in a very small window in our hallway! And they do great! The largest one in the bowl is a limifolia. Which has a flower stalk on it right now. Thanks for sharing this great video Ana!!! From Morris Park in the Ozarks, out to Las Vegas, have a wonderful day and MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and yours!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!!✌️💖🌵🌷🌸🌾🌳💐🌴🌹🪴🌻🌿🍀🌱🎅

It’s crazy what you can find in big box stores. I got three variegated Gymnocalycium mihanovichii for 5€. They normally go for 15-20€ a piece.

I bought a haworthia a few years ago and keep it in my daughter's room since she loves it. I had no idea these plants were dormant in the summer. Guess I should've done more research. It always looks like it's about to die in the summer. We keep the plant indoors year round. We water it about once a month, when we remember. It's still surviving, thankfully!

Super hot! Lol. 117F I think was the record that I experienced and that was under the shade. Hot and very dry summer.
