I used to be a fan, but after a couple of years growing several Haworthia varieties, I'm a whole air conditioner.

I haven’t tried keeping Haworthia yet but I want to. Maybe after experimenting with one I’ll try growing a few together. I always like succulents combined in dish gardens. My guess for your riddle is some kind of calathea. Maybe pinstripe because the pattern looks a bit like hard candy?

That sounds like an excellent plan Melissa! Your guess is the closest so far!! Want take a punt on the variety? 😉

@@ms89012 very close but because of the "paddle shape", the right answer is the Orbifolia. But you're super close!! Hope you enjoyed this little riddle. :)

They are so cool looking. I just bought a hybrid one, and it’s supposed to be sorta purple-ish in color. Need to get more! Hopefully I don’t end up overwatering it hehe.

I have also a howirthia cooperi but mine are more shriveled. Even when I water them, they never become juicy....I don't know what I am doing wrong
@MyFellowFoliage3 жыл бұрын
Hi Cleo, I know what you mean. Where do you have them? It could be that they're getting a lot of light and uses up a lot of water. Perhaps consider moving it to somewhere shadier?
@klairigun3 жыл бұрын
@@MyFellowFoliage they don't get a lot of light but I think I underwatered it because it shares a pot with other succulents so it is in the same water schedule with the others. So after your video, I gave more water only to my Howirthia and it is done much better. Thank you very much

May I suggest you water more by soaking in a bowl and don't top water. you want them green move them further away from the light. Also maybe get deeper pots as they have deep roots.

I’m still salty because the common name for Haworthia Cooperi isn’t “bubble plant” that name goes to another random plant
@Anonymous-bv7rg2 жыл бұрын
A calathia..? I’m somewhat new to the plant community so I dunno
