This Cactus is NOT Nursery-Grown?! | Repot a Desert Cactus |

This is probably the coolest cactus in my collection. This mean looking Ferocactus cylindraceus has a yellow desert flora tag attached to it. Is this cactus from the wild? It will now reside in my backyard but first, how do I get this 40lb. pot and cactus moved to its new home?

I remember these collected plants from when I lived in Tucson. When road work went through, or as you say construction. These plants were collected and state tagged. Be careful!! These guys are extra tender!!! That is a beautiful acanthodes!!! I remember them well from the Mojave desert. Didn't know the species name had changed. I've heard the new name watching videos and thought it looked like an acanthodes. Enjoy!!! From Morris park in the Ozarks, out to Las Vegas, have a wonderful day!!! OMG 🤩👏👏👏! What a specimen 🏆👌💯💕! I'm happy to know that desert government protects their flora. Looks pretty in that pot and the lava rock makes it even better 😍. I have a problem now... I need one😅!...but in my terrace (I find it dangerous for my tiny patio 😁)🙈.
