When a full tutorial on making something teaches you way faster than a "Step-by-step" tutorial about Solidworks. Thanks a lot! You saved so much of my time learning the fundamentals.

For those using Solidworks 2012, and the ball is not able to mate with inner ring face, I found a solution. Go to Mates, select, ball 'top plane' and inner ring 'top plane' and give distance between both of them as 45 mm. It sure works! Thanks

The tutorials you have in your "CAD CAM TUTORIAL" page are AMAZING YOU ARE A MASTER. In order to be a better TEACHER you need to take time to show us how everything is done, share your creativity, how a designer like you CREATE, etc., ALMOST NOBODY teaches that. When people post something THEY TRY TO IMPRESS THAT THEY KNOW HOW TO DO IT. MASTER think that one day will be MASTERS too, but WE need your INFLUENCE in our lives with even the details. THANKS FOR SHARING !

Hey, how are you doing? I'm still learning SW and your tutorials are so helpful. The best ones ever!!! Actually I'm trying to assembly this ball bearing but I'm having some troubles on positioning the ball upon tangent the inner ring, When I try to follow all steps you teaches, it doesn't work to me. I've ever tried of all ways to make it work and hadn't any success. The step which I'm talking about is on video up to 14'14'' until 14'20''. I have the version 2016 on my PC and when I click on flip mate the ball moves down instead of move up. I don't know more what to do. Would appreciate your helhp if possible. Thanks in advance
@Dinhokk7 жыл бұрын
I did the same as the Rahul Suhas Kulkarni and it worked, but now I have another problem with the cage, I couldn't mate them using the steps from video but I aligned the cage and ball planes, after I mirrored the component but when I rotate, only the inner ring and the balls move, the cage is static at all. Any help?
@CADCAMTUTORIALBYMAHTABALAM7 жыл бұрын
make relation between ball & cage, tangent & parallel plan mate.
