GM should’ve included holograohics HUD on the Lyriq as standard or option. That’s the one thing it’s missing, at times there’s a bunch going on the display. It definitely would’ve been a tech GameChanger with the help of Envisics.

GM needs to create a new category of driving assistant perhaps called Interactive Cruise Control. In this version the car drives itself but seeks driver permission whenever it encounters complex decision making situations such as for example turning left across traffic, pedestrian crossings etc. For example the car might ask, Should i proceed', 'Please take control '; etc. If you watch Tesla FSD drives, there is always a point when the FSD encounters a situation where it can't decide or decide quickly enough how to proceed, the steering creeks left and right, the car doesn't move forward, inconveniencing cars behind. Eventually the tesla driver has to put his foot down on the accelerator to force the tesla forward. I've always thought that FSD should have had an interactive implementation such as i described earlier.
