Gorgeous! And agree, yes, eventually we will all play with our own collections of special yarns and that will be such fun. Even so, we love the Lamb & Kid! The colours are glorious! Minis are time consuming to make, that’s true. But it would be so nice to be able to buy a kit that had just enough for Friday in Elmer. 😉 I sense we aren’t supposed to ask, but, I’m going to ask anyway, because I think that there’s no harm in putting a wish out into the Universe.✨And I think that people would buy them. I think people would end up buying more because once you start Lamb & Kid, it’s hard to stop! 🤭 (Even if you live in Canada and the exchange is a bit 🥴 and the import fees are 🫠 it’s still worth it! Such beautiful yarn in truly unique colours!) Thank you for introducing us to Sarah & Bob & their fantastic little shop! 💖 And for bringing us along on your trip to the PNW.

Just north of the border in Cloverdale BC, we are gathering at the first #fibreswest event. This was shut down at the beginning of the pandemic, but not until all the vendors had set up. So extra special to visit with knitters and support our local artists

‘Wow, Just Wow…” when there is nothing more to be said. I was a recipient of some of that helpful color plan and play. I had gathered 3 colors of my favorite colors in the new base “Clarence” I couldn’t settle on the order for the pattern I had chosen. Jackie to the rescue. Hello my spiritual daughters. (Only saying this to you both because I am 71 and old enough to be your mother. I have just learned how to knit and it is so glorious, invigorating, and life affirming). I am presently working on a cabled front and sleeved pullover. I have frogged (such a crazy name lol) the front portion so many times it is a shame most would say; but, I am learning (wonderful feelings here) each (and more to come lol) time. Your relationship reminds me of my friendship with my buddy of over 30 years (1988 we first met pushing navy recruits as Company Commanders) and still going strong. We have crocheted together all those years and now the knitting for me. She has no desire to pick this up with me lol. I am binge watching your podcasts and loving them as they have become a knitting friend as I am knitting. Your content is like a warm blanket. I have moved up in material content to the woolen fibers as I knew to use acrylic fibers first for practice pieces. I hope your friendship continues as it will become such a wonderful thought provoking quilt for your lives. I pray it continues as I pray about my friendship with my girlfriend. There's always a way when a woman sets her mind to do a thing- I hooked up to my sons tiny apple speaker ;) Wow! Little but amazing , so much so , i'm using it for music from my phone which was a game changer ! who knew ? Not me.. I do wish you would give suggestions for yarn that is more affordable. I don’t know many people who can spend almost $500 Canadian for a shrug. It excludes most knitters.

I wrote a free pattern, with blank charts to use the yarn of your choice. Not sure how that excludes anyone. It doesn’t have to be knit in Elmer, any more than the Saturday Shrug had to be knit in Tod. There were hundreds of variations for that one on Ravelry. And I’m hoping and can’t wait to see how people use this iteration to stash dive and express themselves as well.
