The casino giant Caesars confirms that it has fallen victim to a massive cyberattack where hackers hijacked critical data, including social security and driver’s license numbers for some customers. This comes after MGM also suffered a crippling digital attack earlier this week. NBC’s Miguel Almaguer reports for TODAY.

This should happen to every casino that has any 6:5 blackjack tables or any tables where the dealer hits soft 17, but casinos that only have 3:2 blackjack tables where the dealer stands on soft 17 should be left alone.

As long as casinos keep paying ransoms ( recently 15 million ) to criminal hackers they will not stop. Don’t use credit cards in Vegas.

You can't avoid using a credit card, it's the only way to reserve a hotel room.

@@2011blueman ...correction, YES you can use PayPal to book rooms and they will quickly return your money if illegal activity is reported. I'm speaking from experience not assumptions.

since the parent company was hacked, all data from all their properties across the country was stolen, not just "two major casinos" in LasVegas @@selanryn5849

@@KarenPatrol123bellagio is a major casino. As is MGM Grand. Or Caesars Palace. Or Harrah’s. Two CASINOS were not breached. Two companies that, combined, operate close to 20 casinos in total, were breached. Broadcaster should have said “two major casino companies…”
