I've always liked Rene since he first showed up on WWE television. saw him wrestle here in Australia as part of a WWE tour. I now have a newfound respect and admiration for him. his experience wrestling all over the world and his knowledge of the history of wrestling.

Ministry Taker was the best. It’s weird that he says it’s his least favorite incarnation because it’s such a compelling character. I heard that he was really into the character and started believing he was the devil and that’s why he pulled the handbrake on it, that he was really believing it and it interfered with his faith. Something like that. I read it on Wrestlezone years ago.

The Puder dude seemed arrogant so a lot of the negatives that came his way he may have deserved. But the unfair thing is that they advertised that as a million dollar tough enough with the winner getting a 4 year/$250K contact but what actually happened was they paid the big rate for the first year and then put the person on a normal development deal. So kinda a false advertisement all for marketing but still probably got all the locker room dislike anyways, especially if you weren’t humble and grateful

I HATED Biker Taker also there is no meaningful difference between American Dumbass/ Big Evil / Deadboring Inc...they're all lame. You can tell he is dodging it, even bringing the American Dumbass back for one of his last streak matches but not Ministry taker? The Ministry might be the biggest stable in all of American wrestling and most of it was memorable characters yet he avoids it and brings all the others back. I've heard it's because he was always bothered by playing something so demonic as Ministry Taker but then again you are an undead guy who rolls his eyes into the back of his dead, gathers his powers from a urn used to store ashes of dead people, does the Mike Meyers pop up, has buried alive/casket/Hell in the cell as his signature matches. HOW IS THAT NOT "EVIL"? He might as well been painted red, with horns, a pitchfork, three 6s on his forehead, leather bat wings on his back, and knowing that weirdo VKM they'd still make him a good guy which tells you a lot about VKM. Being merely a biker was a total downgrade and he could have at least renamed himself to something less associated with being a literal undead demon. Instead we got I guess the lame "human" Taker who would roll down in his bike, give promos about being a dog in a yard like that was cool, let his natural hair color through, and wore bandanas and leather pants with his wife of the week on his neck LAME AF
