This has to be the best example of a BMW Cafe racer I have ever seen. The exhaust note is absolutely wonderful, and reminds me of dive bombing aircraft of wwll. It just sounds aggressive at speed, subtle at idle and in my opiniom perfect. I would like to see more builds from him, as he has a talent for making overall beautiful machines...

Sensacional, a R9T é a minha maquina dos sonhos, junto com a CB750! Já vi uma nesse modelo aqui, já senti um pouco dela com o motor ligado, não tive oportunidade de rodar! Os detalhes que fazem a diferença! Sempre fui atraído pelo Belly Pan, e é um detalhe que estárá em uma das versões de minha moto. Uma coisa é certa, quando o projeto é home made, ele nunca está terminado! Parabéns ao Stephen pelo bom gosto e pela capacidade de fazer algo tão inusitado sem ter que reconstruir a moto!! Indisputably the best boxer sound I’ve heard yet as well. This is what I call the new age Café. Perhaps, things do indeed change over time and I agree with the design elements in this machine. Very aesthetically pleasing indeed. By the way, I have the same “Remove Before Flight” key fob on my ZRX1200R! As always, thank you for Racer TV, the Café Racers only choice! Yes, I also prefer the longer tail, as the short seat is problematic if you get caught in a rain shower. Other that it looks fantastic, and the sound is just right too.

This bike looks SO good. I always love the lines of a bike with clip on bars, but they also look pretty uncomfortable. I have an r nine t but sorry that my shoulders and back would be killing me within a half hour if I set my bike up like this (but it would look REAL sexy in my garage)

I have a similar R9T build. There are many bolt on products from Rizoma, AC Schnitzer, Motogadet, etc. the list goes on as well and endless options to personalize. The overall dimensions of the bike are quite small. There’s optional rear sets if you’re over 6 feet. Honestly this bike begs to be modified. It can turn into an expensive addiction. Even the exhaust has endless options from various manufacturers (Akropovic, Remus, and a small shop in the Netherlands called H&G); high pipe, twin pipes, catless, remover of the H pipe. Although, it must be said, if you do not like the boxer engine sound, no exhaust can change the baseline note.

Really nice bike. Not convinced with the short seat, looks great but you can expect a line of mud/dirt, road kill down your spine. Then again the smile on your face might compensate for that.

Parece existir motos que qualquer coisa que se faça nelas fica bom: uma substituição aqui, a retirada de uma peça ali, uma pintura diferente acolá e pimba: surge uma nova fonte de diversão :) Nos anos 90 aqui no Brasil os rapazes costumavam se referir a essas motos ( carros também ) como "fácil de tunar" ou simplesmente que tal veículo "aceitava veneno".. tunar obviamente de "tuning" e o "veneno" por conta da adição de elementos anormais ao veículo. Tinha até uma revista aqui chamada Carros Envenenados rs.. acho que não existia a palavra customizar na época rsrs.. 😂 Bem, claramente a RNine T é uma dessas motos: acho que é a moto mais customizada atualmente e, se não for a mais, provavelmente é devido ao custo, elevado em qualquer país. Realmente, a BMW foi iluminada ao lançar esse produto rs.. Quanto a esta RNine T, como todas, ficou de arrasar.. o camarada acertou em cheio também ao instalar esse escape. Para mim essa RNine está praticamente finalizada.. mas eu substituiria esse mono assento por outro imediatamente rs.. Abraço Vitor, bom fim de semana.

Em relação ao Mono Assento, há um pormenor que não falei no video, e que agora me parece importante para explicar o sucesso deste projecto. Se olharmos para uma R nine T normal com o assento convencional, e com aquela protecção sob o motor, irá notar que o efeito não é o mesmo. Na verdade, até acho que a protecção sob o motor "estraga" na postura da R nine T. E é precisamente aí que este banco curto faz a diferença. Ou seja, acho que a protecção inferior do motor só faz sentido existir, se o assento for curto. Agora tenho pena de não ter explicado isto no video. :( Há que ter paciência não é? :) Um abraço e um bom fim de semana para Você também. :)

I like it. Though you have to be a brave man to chop your R Nine. Maybe he could fabricate the space occupied by the tool roll on the rear of the seat into a mini cowl. I like the spokes as well but think the black engine paint is a step too far and would have better suited the belly pan if it were stock Aluminium.
