My fave bean is similar to what you've made here. Butter beans or cranberry beans with rainbow chard cooked in rich broth, sage & thyme, white wine, and I like some kind of compound butter stirred in at the end. Top it with fried garlic and toasted bread crumbs.

Simple beans...butter/lima beans salt and pepper and stick of delicious butter. I like my beans with a lot of broth. Fried potatoes and bread n butter and sometimes Cole slaw ❤❤❤

Happy early birthday! You'll have to share how the Oishi strawberries are! My whole house has covid, so we did a Freshdirect order and I almost splurged on the strawberries.. and then we go a coupon for a second order so would be down to order the strawberries if you deem them worthy! Oh, and for Chuck, my favroitr bean recipe is a veggie chili that is halfway between two diner veggie chili recipes from long defunct diners... Dizzy's Finer diner from my childhood in Brooklyn, and Dotties True Blue Cafe in SF. A mix of red kidney beans, chickpeas, black beans, and a whole lot of chili accoutrement.

Pasta fagiole is a favorite. Cuban Moros is also delicious. I’ve never made beans and escarole with limas. I think I use great northern? It’s so good and comforting. Happy birthday 🎊🎉🎁

Bean casserole Chilean style with corn, corn puree to thicken and pumpkin cubes. Optional is a chorizo in the middle of your plate (ofc sofrito is a must to start, with sweet paprika for color and merken which is an indigenous paprika mix, smoked with coriander seeds).

Happy Birthday week Hailey. Your dinner looks delicious. I looked at the beans and to me they look like Great Northern beans, for me Lima beans are quite small and have a green tinge. One of my most favourite soups is Moroccan Bissara, which is a thick split pea purée soup seasoned with your best e.v.o.o. freshly ground cumin, served with good bread. Another classic Moroccan soup is Harira, Lamb vegetable and chickpea soup. It’s amazing. Love seeing you two cook together, peas and lovage from New Zealand

I watched National Velvet and Black Beauty over the weekend...Both good horse movies...Nothing better than a movie with a horse... The best horse movie is: Electric Horseman with Robert Redford and Jane Fonda. Both Redford and Fonda were in: Barefoot in the Park playing very different characters showing their talent. I'm not a fan of Jane Fonda's politics but in these two movies along with Coming Home with Jon Voight she had good talent for the screen.

Limas and butter beans are actually very different beans 😊😉 both are delicious. Baby limas are green. Limas are cream. Butter beans are brownish for the most part. I like to season my beans midway so that they are not tough. Happy Bday!!
