What's your take on this? Let me know in the comments. Please feel free to leave any feedback on the podcast, would love to develop and improve as I move forward :)

How incredibly wise you are. I, too, feel like even at 41 I haven’t really figured what my life goals are. I thought it would be getting married and having kids. It definitely is one of the hugest blessings in my life and greatest reasons to get up every morning, but I know my mind and heart are always growing and my desires/passions/“dreams” are transforming. What a great way to look at life. I hope more good comes to you, especially in your own heart. I sent this to my sister who is dealing with a lot of questions in her own life as a single in NY.

Dear Maddy, your podcast brings so much warmth and happiness into my week. I’m blind so I can’t see all the amazing foods you cook, but the sounds of you cooking, and the way you talk about each dish, I know it looks delicious. Thank you for all that you do. Happy cooking ❤️

Maddy, this one really resonates with me and I guess a lot of other people. I’ve been working for 8 years right after finishing my degree and I’ve been feeling completely lost. I have so many things that I want to do but feel stuck. Listening and watching this podcast gave me inspiration and hope that I too can find what makes me feel alive and happy, and that it’s okay to not have it all figured out. Thank you for pursuing your dream and sharing it with the world! 💕💕💕

thank you so much 🥺🥺 because of you, i realized now that it makes our lives more worth living if we lean more toward the things that make us happy!! as also a 21 young adult, it's indeed easy to get caught up in the worries of what's next and conform to the expectations of the world... but now, i release myself from the pressure and get to retrospect within of what i do really want. listening to you has helped me open my mind to the possibilities of what more i can be if i just tuned in more to my creative energy and allow myself to enjoy the process. just by thinking of it, life becomes more exciting (instead of scary) despite the uncertainty!! we'll never know what might happen in the future, but what matters the most is we get to enjoy every bit of it!! i hope i can fully express how enlightening your podcast is and how you've been comforting me with your soothing voice 🥺🤍 continue sharing your creations, as you've been doing a great job impacting our lives this way!! thank youuuu ✨✨

You are so right! I'm 31yo, I'm an accountant, after 10 years working in a office I moved to Europe. I was 27 at the time, it's been 6 months I moved back to my country and I'm living in a cottage in the mountain. Hahahaha if you asked me where I'd be at 31 years old, I could never imagine this.

Dear Maddy, Thank you for this video. It was exactly what I needed now that I am at a point in my life in which I find myself constantly doubting my past decisions regarding my career. I am a highschool English teacher, and although I like my job, I feel like it is draining my creativity. I have always been into fashion and lifestyle content, and I actually debated becoming a wedding planner before starting my degree. Nevertheless, I chose the less creative outcome in favor of a more economically stable career. Four years later I have achieved almost everything an aspiring English teacher would want to, yet I feel completely empty at times. It was through social media that I regained my connection with fashion, lifestyle, and discovered my passion for food, specially through videos like yours. It is inspiring to see how other people have found their paths and that it is okay to drift away from what we are expected to do in order to dedicate ourselves to what we really love, even if it just starts out as a hobby. I would also like to take this opportunity to recommend all of you Eve Cornwell’s new video. I believe it would resonante with the people that clicked on this video to find comfort when taking a turn in their lives. Thank you Maddy, from the bottom of my heart. You words and experience resonated with me a lot, and I will keep them in my heart and mind for a long while.

Maddy, I wasn't sure about my life for so many years now and I am 27, still in college and unfortunately so depressed. Yet here you are, opening my eyes and specially my heart. With these, I am so grateful for your life and passion. Without you, I may still find myself afraid to step forward and conquer my life. Looking forward for another episode, Maddy. Will forever be cheering and rooting for you!

I'm still a junior in high school, and as a student, there's an incredible amount of pressure to have a set plan for college, choose what you want to do, and know what your end goal is - all at the age of what, 18? I've been wanting to do KZbin for a couple years now, and I've been scared but this has encouraged me to just DO it, because you love it, regardless of what other people think or how imperfect it is. thank you so much for making this podcast Maddy :) can't wait for the next episode!

Yes!!!! That “just do it” mentality is what I live by now too. How crazy, I just did a video on goals and consistency too 😂 We’re the same age and I wanted to do KZbin since I was in high school. I just started one last year and dove head first into learning how to edit and enjoying it. I love this theme you have, I feel like I was actually served a warm meal 🥺💕

So great to come home after a long week and day to this!!! It calms me down and i agree with you on the chasing dream view. I never had that big dream goal that others talk about and always felt kinda bad about it. But i do have a lot of small hobbies and pleasures i enjoy doing.

Growing up i was always told i needed goals and ambitions. But ever since at least the 2nd grade all i ever wanted was to find love, get married, and have kids. As I've grown older I've realized how hard it is to enjoy anything without someone to share it with. Now I'm almost 29 having never found anyone that could love me, and have realized my dream is impossible. And now I've just got a mundane routine of work and home with no friends and no love, and no goals or dreams or passions.

Hi Maddy, I first knew you as another aesthetic food content creator, but now listening to these podcasts and seeing your journey to where you are now is really inspiring. I feel like the way you express your ideas and philosophy is very heartwarming and relatable which pairs really well with your soothing voice haha. I am looking forward to pursuing my own dream of creating a milk tea beverage company and this video has helped me take on a one step back and two steps forward mentality. Thank you and keep doing what you do! :D

Oh my gooodnesss!! YEEEESSS! I feel like in school we’re taught to have goals and not having one means you’ve got no path. I’ve tried many many times to set goals but never was a method that worked for me. I’ve wished to do so many things and still do now. 😂 Now I do a “To-do List” every now and then. I know I’ll get it all done in due time. I worked towards a path I wasn’t sure about. However, I found another through this journey and am so happy with my overall life & profession. Detouring can be risky and filled with so much uncertainty, but can be so worth it in helping you create you! Kimchi goes with everything & even by itself. Kimchi helped me through COVID too 🥺. Kimchi banzaaaii ٩( ᐛ )و
