Caffeine makes me insane if I’m not careful with it. But I still drink it because I’m so addicted. I will get off it one day…

@@justchill5628 those are the benefits I get whenever I take a break from caffeine. Then I always start drinking coffee again because I get offered it all the time at work. It’s SO difficult to quit it and stay off it. I wish I never started it in the first place. We never need caffeine as kids… then we rely on it as adults to get through the day, it sucks!

It's hard to quit. But so worth it. You'll feel like a new person. At ease, happy, content with yourself...trust me, it'll take a while (you have to ease off slowly as going cold turkey will make you insane) but it'll be worth it.

Get off it, you can do it! You don't need to quit forever, but it's good to go caffeine free for some time and see how you feel.

It's definitely a challenge when coffee is the social glue at work! Instead of a coffee break, how about a 'break from coffee'? Keep exploring alternatives that energize you without the bean. You might start a new trend at work.

Caffeine can be quite the double-edged sword. Careful how much you consume. How about swapping that cup of coffee for a brisk walk or a splash of cold water? Sometimes, the best pick-me-up is just a change of pace!

I successfully quit and then. . . well I felt bad about the left over coffee so I started drinking it mixed with Teeccino, not even half caf, more like 1/8th caffeinated, and I still feel it makes me less able to deal with stress, more baseline vaguely worried all the time

What about vascular effects of caffeine on our body?
@dr.tedcorbould
@dr.tedcorbould 27 күн бұрын
Caffeine certainly has a complex effect on the vascular system. It's always a good idea to monitor how your body reacts to caffeine, especially if you have any cardiovascular concerns. Conversations with healthcare providers can provide personalized advice based on your health profile and how caffeine interacts with it.

What a quack.....total rubbish... caffeine is always damaging. Doctor?
@dr.tedcorbould
@dr.tedcorbould 15 күн бұрын
Caffeine certainly isn't everyone's cup of tea (or coffee)! It's all about finding what works for your body and sticking with it. If you've found that cutting out caffeine keeps your engine running smoother, that's great insight into what keeps you at your best -no quacks about it!
