This should clear doubts among critics on why railways want to allow private parties on some route . this will bring them more money with better amenities for passengers too. Or else railways has to increase fares which would be unacceptable to most of our Indian citizens. Also railways is working and spending a lot of money on electrification,route doubling,tripplling, dedicated freight corridors, removing unmanned crossings, overbridges, underpasses etc.

रेलवे में सिर्फ Group D और Group C कर्मचारियों को छोड़कर बांकियों के वेतन और भत्ते इतने ज्यादा हैं कि आप सोच नहीं सकते हैं? अफसरों की तो चांदनी हीं चांदनी है|अब जब 60%-70% पैसे वेतन और पेंशन में हीं जा रहा है तो कहाँ से Operating Ratio बढ़ेगा बताइए महोदय?सबसे ज्यादा काम रेलवे में चतुर्थ वर्गीय कर्मचारी करते हैं फिर भी सबसे ज्यादा शोषण उन्हीं का होता है|अफसरशाही खत्म करना बहुत जरूरी है रेलवे में बांकी छोटे कर्मचारी तो शिद्दत से काम कर हीं रहे हैं ये बात सबको पता है फिर भी सब मौन धारण किए हुए हैं|

Operating ratio increases because railway is spending on infra beyond strech and cannot increase fare. This leads to borrow and other means to earn better. When dfc opens well it will bring operation ratio lower because 80% of most populous route will be burdened off but railway should better focus removing bottleneck for time being.

At the first place, railways should to do away this such unfair practices like this nonsense subsidy on train tickets. Isn't this complete injustice to we taxpayers that our money is being wasted on things like this. Actually, this is one of the reasons why only 1.46 crore countrymen are paying income taxes in a country of 130 crore. After all, why would anybody pay taxes when his money is being wasted like this. Even, the MPs who get per-month salary of 1 Lakh aren't feeling shame in taking subsidized meals in Parliament Canteen. Such unfair practices badly discourage the countrymen, who then will look for more & more stuff to avoid taxes... Today, It has become crucial to put an end to these unfair practices otherwise, every other countrymen will start demanding all sort of things & at the same time, more & more countrymen will start avoiding paying taxes. We have long ago decided to chose 'market economy in 1991. Since then, it has been extended to almost every part of our Economy. Therefore, we have to now accept the fact that in order to get something we'll have to pay a fair amount like everybody. I urge all my fellow countrymen to please raise your voice against such unfair practices... Please 🙏🙏🙏
