My last Kramer I owned I bought autum of 1989 - it was a Kramer ST-605 with a tilted humbucker and the same headstock and logo as this - I want a new Kramer now and this is a great candidate. - I also looked at the Kramer Jersey Star too, but I am not sure yet.... -tnx for a great and humourus video! 🤣

I am a Jackson USA, Les Paul guy but I FINALLY picked up a Kramer and was soooo freaking impressed I bought it that minute! For the last 3 months my USA Rhoads and LP Standard 60's neck have been in their cases under my bed . . . this stays on the stand so I can pick it up everyday after work. VERY impressed with Kramer fit & finish!! I would rank it up there with my USA's for 1/3 the price

I tried the blue SM1 , while it was a great axe I actually ended up buying the Dave Sabo Kramer, just love it. It goes with my 89' Nightswan perfectly! I would still love a SM1 though to go with my growing Kramer collection lol.

If you want a custom shop Gary kramer guitar then I suggest you look at the Gary Kramer guitar gkg RR-2 custom that will shut down any custom Jackson I can promise you that and that's not even Gary Kramer best custom guitar Jackson don't want none with Gary Kramers custom shop guitars that's for sure and if look up the Kramer sm1- emg with emg 81tw and 2 sa pickups just that alone should shut up Jackson but good luck finding one they were sold out and no one will sell you theres you can look online try to find one you won't especially in the candy apple red finish when it comes to screaming axes Kramers are top of the food chain for sure

Kramer guitars are a lot better now than they were in the 90s but I still wish Gibson would just sell the brand to somebody who will take it to the next level and bring it back to its former glory. There’s still quality control issues among other things. I don’t know what they were thinking in the 90s letting musicyo build them.

SM stands for Stage Master. I have one from the 80s, an American one.

The name "Stage master" had a copyright on it so they couldn't legally use that name anymore. That's why it became the "SM1". I have several of these and vintage ones as well. - Eric

I am talking about the first version from the eighties, not the Mach 2 were the SM 1 is a reproduction from. I had both versions in the eighties. My first one was from 1986 and my second one from 1988. Both of mine were in champagne flip flop color. Actually I always preferred the first version. I still have that one, sold the second version. If Kramer (or should I say Gibson) made a reproduction of the first version I would be all over it.

the amp you see on stage is twin reverb, however we use DI's for these demos. Eric uses a Kemper and I use a helix. as for why more stores carry them, I'm not sure. I guess they just don't like cool guitars haha! but don't worry about the rest, we are a Kramer dealer, and we'd be MORE than happy to get you setup when you're ready for a new guitar!
