Caiques are definitely cuties! However I just wanted to point out that the second bird and the one with the little red cup are not caiques. The yellow bird is called an African Ringneck, and the other one is a Sun Conure :)

If your not familiar with birds and have never got one then you should not get one of these. Get a green cheek conure they made great first birds

@@Marvel_vs_Capcom84 Not everyone is the same. It is important to know your limits and do your research before getting a bird. If your not familiar with birds and taking care of them, you definitely shouldn’t get a Caique of all species. The only exception would be having done thorough research on caring for them and making sure you have the time and patience to give them the attention they deserve. Otherwise, a bird like the green cheek conjure would be a much better option, or even a cockatiel.

@@1steelpenfan113 why waste money on a bird your not really interested in because other ppl are telling you it's a great first bird? Again no such thing a a great/best first bird , just do your research and buy the bird you want when you feel your ready and from their learn on a daily basis as you get to know the bird and never stop doing research after you get your companion parrot , I now have 4 caiques and I am happy as ever no regrets..

Some can talk, but it’s rare and usually very unclear. You would have to put a lot of time into training them to talk, and even with that there is a good chance it may never really be able to.

I have wanted a bird for many years, had cockatiels when i was younger but I do know that i just don't have the time they need unlike a cat that can mostly take care of itself.
