Cairo is the coolest dude ever! I was writting an college essay about DIY in skateboarding, so I decided to DM some skaters and ask about their experiences with improvising on the spot during the session and he wrote back telling some greats stories and experiences he had back in the day. I'll never forget the first time I saw a pro skater in person, I was trying to jump down (5 stair Hemming Park,Jax. FL.) After getting broken off 100 times I finally landed super sketchy. I was self hyped arms in the air rolling away and out of nowhere I see a dude Ollie up the stairs so effortlessly. Later that day I found out it was Cairo!

Never thought I would get to use this knowledge but I knew every detail about Cairo, because in ⁶th grade my first skateboard that want a thrashed second hand was Cairo Foster popwar, and I had to do an English and writing report presentation on a famous role model. I chose Cairo Foster after looking at my board and learned all kinds of stuff. I was obsessed with the popwar drop shape.. I drew some art sketches and sent to giant distribution they sent me like a kilo package of stickers

There is nothing wrong to wait for every monday morning for hour-and-half cca show. Over weekend I did my share of binge-watching all podcasts of The Nine Club. It is great to see how you guys made this thing special, that progresion and your dedication. Great job guys, I wish I could be there, but on the other side, maybe ot is better to leave you alone to do your thing. If I can say there were pretty eye opening epizodes with people behind the scene, the “industry” people. I don’t want to point certain episodes, they are all special in their own. Sometimes I wish episodes lasts longer. But poison comes in small doses.

Back in the day when shoes got holes I would cut a small square off of a pair of rubber boots(kids size cuz adults was too thick) n sew it onto my shoe! Once sewn I would use a piece of red tuck tape to cover the stitching so that it doesn’t fall off.
