The CC effect: Showing players how to elevate their game (Lexie Hall), breaking attendance and scoring records, bringing major attention (sponsorship) to the WNBA, and being an inspiration to young girls and people everywhere. Not to mention her ball and court skills are off the chain. All while remaining humble and thankful through it all. All this done in her first year.

Mitchell! You can't forget about Mitchell! By basketball standards in height, she should be a bench warmer, but she is dynamic, very quick, very accurate from anywhere and consistent! She is fearless and brings a quality to the team that makes her, THEM, a must watch! She is so quiet until she gets her hands on a basketball, then she turns into, (telling my age here!) "MIGHTY MOUSE". and, "HEAR SHE COMES TO SAVE THE DAY"! I love that kid!

@@boosuedon Honestly, I looked at Mitchell at the beginning as a talented, but salty, self-serving teammate. Hear me out. She is fast. She can shoot and drive and do all the things…but she was by herself. On a (then) sh*t team, what do you do? Go out and ball. Get your points. Get a check. Go home. When CC arrived on the seen, for a while, that old attitude showed. Both her and Wheeler would refuse to pass to her, no matter where she was, how open she was. Ever. Slowly, after Boston signed on first, I think Kelsey started to believe in The Team. She still gets the points - but more because CC’s passes are next level. She wasn’t trying to force the ball, she just had to be watching for the ball now. She is now getting assists - which was one stat she never tried to get, because she was the only one she could rely on. Until now. Now the team is going places it hasn’t for a long time.

The Bulls during the Jordan-Pippen era, always had a three-point shooting specialist, usually hanging out in the corner in case the defense collapsed on a driving Jordan or Pippen. On offense, Hull is filling that role.

I remember early in the season, Clark making insane passes that the other Fever players weren't prepared for and fumbled. I remember her saying, "They aren't used to the way I pass." Since then, two switches have gotten flipped. The first one: They trust her to nail the crazy passes now and are more alert and ready. They know she can do it. The second one: OMG, MAYBE WE CAN ALL DO IT.

These women are well coached and play fantastic basket ball.. For the playoffs and next year, what prevents the Fever from a fabulous five or six? A tall rebounder, defensive blocker, passer, full court presser, inside shooter, guard for center, and a offensive rebounder might help. The sixth player would enter and exit the game with different plays planned, players in foul trouble, and confusion for the opponents. Individual stats to go up if the team practices for 100-120 pts total per game. Every starter needs over 90% on free throws, over 40 % on play shots, and a proven record on three point shots every night to avoid off nights/double teaming and a plan for offensive rebounding. Defensive steals and rebounds should continue to be turned into reliable 90% 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, 2-2, and 3-2 layups quickly .and efficiently with hustle, passing, familiarity with each other. In the offseason, I wonder if they would do charity events with the Harlem Globetrotters, the Olympic team, and others.

Am I the only one to notice Lexie Hall passing up open 3 point shots and instead either passing into a turnover or into a more difficult scoring option. The three main offensive options can be covered and using Lexie as a scoring option would improve the Fever's play but Lexie needs to take the shot when open.

I think the perfect startup would be Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston, Lexie Hull, Kelsey Mitchel, and Nalyssa Smith. Smith is a terrible shot, but she is the best at rebounding on the team. Having both Smith and Hull on defense, and then Clark, Boston, Mitchel, and Hull on offense makes them a force to be reckoned with.

What's amazing is that they're all transforming all at the same time. And this is just year 1! On turnovers, full agree - they're getting used to a new style of basketball. And if you look at her assist to turnover ratio, it's not the worst because her historically high assists compensate for the historically high turnovers. Thanks for watching!

Coach Sides has taken this team much further than any of us expected but you guys still get butt hurt.Grow up. I think Coach Sides is doing a great job, with a very young team developing the chemistry and instilling her O. She has had a learning curve just like the players and appears to be growing and by extension her team is growing. I listened to her post game and she never said "they" but "we" didn't do this or that. She took responsibility just like CC did so you guys need to quit hating on her. Coach Sides is the reason they're in the playoffs, her and the players she coaches. People need to quit "reacting" emotionally and start thinking objectively about things. Put on your big boy pants.

The Big 3 Fever... Coach should advance their strategies in offense & defense, especially the timed pressure plays like bringing ball at half court because playoffs are here so they should expect a man to man defensive plays. They should try the Triangle Offense & Defense Strategy... it's perfect when you have a big 3 key players. Now, the rethinking strategies belongs to their opponents, to rethink everything. This really is a fever to them hehehe

You should have mentioned Kelz ! I read you’re posting another about Kelsey. Why didn’t you mention her here ? They are the starting FOUR on the FEVER. The FEVER still have not figured out the fifth player. I love AB she makes me smile, it’s contagious. Lexie was not a starting until the past three or four weeks. Sides I’ll never understand. When Hull was on the floor in last game she was open for treys so often ,and didn’t shoot. Are you kidding me ? Watch Mystic game again. Lexie was over 70% from three. CC there is nothing to add. I’ve never seen a rookie this dominate since Bird 79-80 …

Fever have a good starting lineup. Good bench mostly. They are just missing a Rodman type big forward not affraid to knuckle with the players who continue to cheap shot next year. Hope they pick up sombody 6'3 to 6'5 who plays great D and good rebounder like Rodman. They would be hard to beat. Hell, they are hard to beat now.

Great take! And that's exactly the topic of the video we posted 12 hours ago. Kelsey has always been good, but Caitlin just let the fire in her and provided her more opportunities to play her game. All teams are giving up points. You only need as a team, is to make more points than you give up. That is how you win. If you win than you made more points than you gave up, If you lose you gave up more points than you made. Since they are winning, they aren't giving up too many points. It isn't rocket science.

I disagree. She inherited a team that only won 5 games the year before, then 10, now they are 20 wins with a serious shot to go deep into the playoffs. I thought at first she should be fired, but a team doesn't win so many this year with a bad coach..Her sets and plays she designed are definitely working..
