My daughters have daughters now. But we still have 'Daddy-Daughter Dates'. Kobe was having one the day the helicopter went down. I think I respect him more for taking that time with his daughter than for all the games he played. Vanessa is upholding his commitments to family and basketball. The Bryant family shows us what a class act really is.

I don't think people realize what GiGi was or would have become, she was being groomed by her father Kobe who was picking Micheal Jordan's brain for advice on what he needed to teach her at different ages for her to be as great as he was and she seemed to have Kobe's mentality. The fact that you had Kobe and MJ collaborating on her basketball life and she was embracing it at a very young age, she would have been that God tier player because she would have had all their tools. GiGi likely would have had Tim Grover working with her, it's crazy to think about what her potential in women's basketball could have been, like nothing ever seen before or ever again.

Love Clark and Maravich, my two favorite players! Just one thing.... don't compare apples with oranges! Clark DID NOT break Maravich's scoring record! She holds the record for those who play 4 years with a 3 point option. Maravich played just 3 years with no 3 point option. So.... subtract Clark's freshman year and change her 3 point baskets to 2 point baskets and do the math. There ya go!

not apples to apples anyway...Pistol played with men, Clark with women...no matter how many people suggest that women could play in the NBA, it still doesn't make it remotely true. The athleticism difference is night and day. Look at what happened when women's US soccer team played high school boys, or retired men in their 50s..... Look at what happened when Serina Williams (undisputedly the greatest female tennis player of all time) played the 300 something ranked man.... It doesn't take anything away from the women...but their is a reason we have men's sports, and women's sports. That said...Clark is amazing...She's bringing the magic that Curry brought to the NBA, to the WNBA, and shes a class act to boot...definitely rooting for her success.
