The women always start off by saying how they respect CC and her accomplishments, but go on a rant essentially putting down her accomplishments. Bottom line is CC will bring eyes to Women’s Olympic basketball and that’s it. And they will win no matter if she’s on the team or not, but that’s not the point. And for some reason, these women analysts don’t see that or they do see that and just hate CC that much.

Yes sir, Andraya and others don't realise that they are telling on themselves. It would have been best to just say, "The women on the team ain't comfortable with CC on the team". Just like how Jordan didn't want Isiah Thomas to be on the team. And have you seen some of these women in a post conference interview after a game. Why would you want your little girl to replicate these behaviours. They don't deserve the NBA to subsidise their league especially when it's clear that they are singling out (bullying) and lying why they don't want Caitlin Clarke in the team. These girls are gross!!! 🤮

Why would you need to worry about CC not knowing anyone in the current USA team? Isnt that something everyone experiences in any form of organizations, especially early in their careers? If that is such a big problem to consider, then its basically admitting there is a serious dysfunction in that organization.

I'd rather the media dissect every little thing with Team USA, than to not cover them at all, which is exactly what will happen without Caitlin on the team. The unfortunate reality, is that people don't care about these other women. They're talented, and that's great, but people don't careeee. You have to put her on the team.

Why nobody mentions that previously, four WNBA rookies - Rebecca Lobo in 1996, Diana Taurasi in 2004, Candace Parker in 2008 and Breanna Stewart in 2016 - have been selected for Team USA's Olympic rosters, while Christian Laettner made the 1992 'Dream Team' roster as an NBA rookie. She's a bigger star than every last one of them ever was. She's gonna bring even more eyes to the Olympics, KZbin replays and that's all revenue, the WNBA is insane for leaving her off the roster, thats like racing for slips, I got 2 cars, a GTR and a stock Jetta and I use the Jetta, smh

Diana Taurasi is playing in her 6th Olympics! Has any Olympian participated in 6 Olympics?! She should step down and let some new talent have a chance to play. She's taken up a seat in 6 Olympics?! Diana Taurasi is literally rivaling Nancy Pelosi with her tenure in Congress. This is why the saying goes "no death no promotion". Congress and the US Olympic women's basketball team both need term limits.

This is competition, no one is going to 'let' anyone do anything. Diana has 20 years of experience and leadership, and can navigate the differences of international basketball. She'll be 45 in 4 years and retired. She doesn't owe anyone anything. People can stay in politics forever and Nancy is like 70+, that's not how sports works and that's a bad comparison

So let me get this right... she can't speak out about how Chelsea is going to play and how it will affect the team while literally speaking out on how Caitlin will play and how she'll affect the team? SAS is right when he says she must be lost. Countering CC saying 'it woke up the monster in her' to be left off the team by saying CC's popularity has awoken the monster in Team USA players is craziness and if this is the type of folks making the decisions then it's no wonder the WNBA isn't successful bc instead of understanding it's a business and how a brand is built they just keep romanticizing their decisions under the guise of a some weird moral basketball compass and it's really a disservice to all women. Tf?

Stop it. Griner does not deserve to be on that team ahead of clark. Why do we have to say these things just to appease a certain group of people. We all know that is not true. There are at least 4 players she should be ahead of and turarsi is another one. How selfish is this beeech. This is her 6th time and she is definitely not one of the 12 best players in the league right now and neither is griner who has played only 1 game. How has she earned it. Will people please quit enabling these braindead takes.

Caits not a 6'9" shot blocker like Griner. That Team is already Guard heavy, show me another 6'9" tall shot blocking, rim protecting phenom and ill agree, even then, it wouldn't be Caitlin. As for Taurasi, shes the goat, and shes actually ballin. Also even at 42 Taurasi is having a good year. Stats wise, Diana is right there and slightly better than Caitlin in some major categories including PPG and 3% percentage. Clarks 3 point game vs the NY liberty and 10 tonight vs the Conn Sun, means her Average points per game is Lower than Diana's, Diana's is 16.6 and Caits is 16.3 PPG. Before tonight's Game Caits was 16.8 which is still only .2 better than Diana's 16.6. So its not like Diana is washed up. As for Olympic Appearance number 6, Its not selfish, Its GOAT stuff. Its not about letting players in because its their turn, its about LEGACY, of her, of TEAM USA Womens basketball and The United States of America. I wish newer fans could appreciate both players as the amazing phenoms they are, but that's not the world we live in anymore, its all about drama and hype pieces.

What’s more important to these women, the growth of the game or hurting one players feelings? Also you have to think towards the future like she says you have to bring the future along to gain valuable experience for the.next Olympics because if the women don’t win gold it isn’t because the 12th man on the bench. It’s super simple ask the coach for their rotation then swap out whoever is number 12 for Caitlin Clark that’s who you leave off the roster

By including Magic and Bird on the original dream team, it grew the game in Europe and China. Grew the NBA huge outside of the USA. Resulted in massive revenue increases. The WNBA needed to run that same playbook.
