I do not see Mitchell working with CC. I think she is working for her next contract. Hopefully it will be on another team. You cannot have 1 player looking after themselves. CC defense is not good. She will get better. Mitchell, Wheeler and Wallace are as bad and they are not going to get better at defense. They do not have the desire CC has. If they did they would be better. CC was responsible for 44 of the 88 points. What was not accounted in those numbers is foul shots off the missed assist.

Angel has the best efficiency rating of any rookie. She has the best net rating of any rookie. She does all this while taking the lead responsibility of guarding the best players in the WNBA each night (Wilson, Stewart, Thomas, Collier, Hamby). All of these players are in the top 8 of the league. She does this knowing that it is going to make her tired. She does this knowing it will most likely put her in foul trouble. She does this knowing going into the game that it will hurt her stats. Meanwhile, Jewell Loyd was destroying the Fever and CC was nowhere to be found. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

She has a better net rating, as well. And she leads the league in rebounding. And she has the league record in consecutive double doubles. And she guards the best players in the league.
