As Caitlin reaches out, Carter is falling down backwards after not getting the rebound and Carter grabs onto CC's left arm. that's why only one arm, Caitlin's right arm is stretched out towards the ball. The left is bent towards Carter, because no one else's but Carter's arm is holding on to it in the video I just saw in slow motion. That's how the elbow got near Carter or maybe hit her, which is part of the game (if not intended). With that said, Carter should have not grabbed CC's left (maybe it's a natural reflex when falling backwards or preventing someone to get to the ball with both hands). I do see CC left arm on Carter's hold. Also if CC talked trash, Carter should have talked trash back at her like she would and not wait until CC had turned her back on her to shove her like a coward bully would and call her "Little B----" on national TV unless she's looking for attention. Carter is lucky she was kept in the game somehow. Sadly she has the skills to do the talk for her, but does not have the ability to keep her cool.
