I am a faithful listener, sapphic Trans woman. Your gay thought means a lot to me, and the fact that you have had transgender ppl on here as well. It is the most frightening to come out in sapphic spaces because this is a community I belong in and the rejection from lesbians hit on a whole other level. On the other hand, to be accepted by lesbians is the most heartwarming euphoric experience I can have. So it is like, if I tell her well my heart be crushed or my spirt lifted? Scary.

I absolutely love the people who try to say the right thing, even if they accidentally say something wrong. There's a comfort in knowing this person accepts you, even if they don't understand 100%. You have a more personal connection with them, instead of having someone tell you the correct terminology of who you are. People are complicated, relationships are complicated, and human interaction is the best way to connect with people, not grammar.

The tension when someone figures out you're gay is real, I made a presentation for my government class and I put something in about rose Cleveland, the first gay first lady and my teacher was reading it and paused and then he read it out loud and said he really liked it, and this is a teacher that's usually rude. it was a good moment❤️

Re: gay marriage: As far as I know it wasn't pushed through as much as finally being voted on. And they (she) made it a "conscience vote" (Gewissensentscheidung) which meant everybody had a free vote and didn't have to vote in accordance with their party's position. But yeah, she is not much of a fighter for gay or women's rights.

I've heard so much stuff about the issue of trans women "invading" or "taking over" lesbian spaces. And as a trans woman, I don't feel safe or comfortable visiting such Establishments, even with my wife accompanying me. The idea of terfs and transphobia existing in the LGBT+ community is very frightening to me. And I'm saddened to think that a risk of harm exists in the places I once thought would've been a sanctuary.

Actual question what's the difference between being able to tell that it's nice to be touched and being bisexual? Like you like it but idk this podcast brought up questions I never had thought of before like can a straight woman enjoy sex with a woman ??Or a straight man like sex with a man ? Like actual question because what's the difference how does that not mean you are not at least bi? Someone please enlighten me. Would love to hear from gay or bis with telling the difference between these things. Or gay people if you have had sex the opposite sex how were you able to tell ? For me as a bi person I'd say it goes beyond "nice" because I actively want to pursue a sexual experience with the person I am attracted to. Which just happen to be of any gender. But I think at the end of the day labels are just labels and sexuality is a fluid thing, so I guess it's really okay to not always having to make precise distinctions

I think it really depends on the person, labels are supposed to be useful to yourself. I have only ever had one sexual partner, but I have had crushes on pretty much any gender, so I consider myself bisexual. There are also people that think about it in terms of the difference between sexual and romantic attraction - a person might feel sexual attraction to any gender, but only see themself in romantic relationships with one gender or with noone at all, and vice versa. But really, if labelling yourself stresses you out, you don't need to do it (yet). And if you hear other people describe their experiences, take them at their word.
