Actually you see this less now; I found that people liked relationship aspect of older shows like Wizards, Hannah Montana, etc. at least in the moment but current shows both done and still running seem to focus more on family and friends: Sydney to the Max, Ravens Home, Secretes of Sulpher Springs, Stuck in the Middle, Andi Mack, etc.

i don’t think auslly getting together ruined the show when it seemed to be vaguely hinted right in the first episode. i do think the second time austin and ally got together should’ve existed without the first try of their relationship because it has them pining and coming to terms with their feelings and prioritising their friendship first. the first time was rushed and came out of nowhere and didn’t let us (or them) ease into their feelings like the second time. i also think it’s their friendship is what made their relationship so great because it’s the foundation of it all and the reason that above all there would always be respect and love for each other.

On deck was so much better than suite life simply because suite life had the boys stuck in very immature situations that you’d expect in the first season of the show, even when they became early teens and ignored their own mature development. On deck actually allowed the characters to grow and mature in a healthy and productive way. And Cody 100% deserved to get into Yale. He worked his butt off on the ship all the time, was top of his class, and was part of a BUNCH of extracurriculars. He should’ve gotten in

This is definitely unpopular but the new disney channel is actually really great. It's not ever going to compare to the older shows but I think for what it is, like Sydney to the Max is one of my favorites. They did a really great job with going back and forth from 1992 to 2021.

@@SpectrumStorms I agree but it's a mixed Renaissance; they have been making decent shows like Stuck in the Middle, Andi Mack, Sydney to the Max, Ravens Home, Secrets of Sulpher Springs, etc. And new animation like the old days like Big City Greens, the Owls House and Amphibia...BUT THEN they seem to back track and keep or introduce new shoes that are frankly not that great (Just Roll with It, Coop and Cami Ask the World, Bunkd half of the time, etc.). So people then only focus on mediocre shows and don't look at the good shows that have had potential. It's one step forward and two back. It's frustrating...nothing against the actors in any of these shows though..

@@SpectrumStorms It's weird how Bunkd out of all of these shows has gotten five seasons. Honestly the actors are decent and deserve to be on better new shows with their own plots and not ones that were epassed down to the like old hand me downs. I don't think Jessie should be fully taken off...but they need to reduce playing it to promote more shows. I think it has a lot to do with Cameron Boyce's death which I understand, rest in peace but almost every show form that era does not get any attention except them. I am kind of glad Just Roll with It is ending..I mean I tried to like it but I was like "what is this?". I have a question, why do you like it? These kinds of game shows have been on Disney bedore but their game show style shows never last that long. And also I feel bad for the kids (one even once like my comment being annoyed by people just talking about wanting old Disney back 🙄) because again they put them on this show.

Idk if this is a popular or unpopular opinion but they NEVER should have canceled Andi Mack!!! I ended up watching it and getting invested, and I really appreciated their realistic portrayals of panic attacks, being disabled, etc. I miss Andi Mack so much.

My Opinions 1. Idc if Dove had Plastic Surgery. She is beautiful! 2. Zendaya *DID* carry “Shake It Up”, how could it be better without her? 3. I think Descendants would be so different without the music. The dances and everything would be gone. We wouldn’t get the same vibe and we wouldn’t see the actors talents. About HSM. Kelsi and Troy should’ve been the main couple. They are truly from different worlds, and they had a sweet relationship. But the new, pretty, and talented girl ends up with the hot popular guy, sooo groundbreaking and unbelievable. Still love the movies though 😂

The one thing sticking out to me watching a few of your videos is that it would be good if they did more of these shows without the main characters getting into various relationships or back together more than once with the same type. I get it bc that's what's expected, but it is a good message for young people that even if relationships and love feels like the end all be all, it's really not. Not every character needs an end game, what if they meet someone in college? Sometimes it's better to leave open ended.

@@skylergrace5068. Ever after high was a show. They have seasons with episodes. Each season does have an hour (like a movie), but it's design to be a series (including cliffhangers by the end of each episode).

I didn't like Good Luck Charlie when it first came out because I was a dumb kid who thought they were replacing Life With Derek with it. Obviously, Life With Derek was at the end of its time and Good luck Charlie didn't have anything to do with that. So watching the show as a teenager and again recently, I definitely think Good Luck Charlie is a good show. It has a perfect family dynamic(imo), entertaining characters, and the story in most episodes seemed logical.

My unpopular opinion is that Disney Channel animated series are better than the live action shows. I also don’t like when people refer to Disney Channel (mostly on Tik Tok) they only refer to the sitcom and tend to ignore animated shows, telenovelas, game shows, and dramas.

Ones I agree on are that best friends whenever should of had more seasons. Love that show. And the one at 7:04. Ppl might think the shows are getting worse, but everyone does grow up. I agree but also remember that back in the day (very early 2000s) they had quite a bit of animated shows so it's weird how they are going back to that but also nice because some of their animated shows are pretty good. At one point they barely had animated shows and it was mainly older teen sitcoms (late 2000s, early to mid 2010s).

@@hlabhlabhlab I grew up on early to late 2000s Disney and there were definitely more animated shows in early then people realize (Proud Family, Kim Possible, Emperors New School, LILO & Stitch are the main ones I can think of right now) plus Lizzie McGuire had the animated “conscience” so it was partially animated. Even with them going to to that style of heavy animated I can still see the want for some live actions that don’t feel like they’re for 10 year olds.

Wizards of waverley Place was the last disney channel show that I was truly invested in I love that show and it was the last great disney channel show just look at the ratings throughout its run next year they should release a 15 anniversary blu ray box set with the 3 different wands!

I feel like it's hard to make a comparison given that from my knowledge they don't really make a lot of latin american shows (and also comparing shows made my multiple coutnries versus one) and there are way more Ameircan shoes in comparison. Also the demographics are different but I do believe there are some elements of Latin Disney Channel that could go over well with a broader audience in the USA.

Don't know if it's an unpopular opinion, but I hate how Disney has a tendency to put every single character with any importance in a relationship. Why did Nina have to have an Eric in her life at the end of the third season? Why did Andres (from Violetta) have to find a cute girl in the last 5 minutes of the finale? There are probably other good examples as well. The characters lives do not end at the finale and even if it did, not every person ends up finding a partner. Don't get me wrong, I love a good ship, haha. But I hate how tv shows need to pair everyone up :/

I feel like this applies more to the telenovelas than the American shows, but yes. Nina and Eric is the worst case, but also Mo from Lemonade Mouth (and Charlie, he ends up with a girl who's onscreen for like 5 seconds), and everyone in Girl Meets World. Everyone.

The worst about Nina/Eric is that the show had a great opportunity to let a character be single - and yet still important even without a love interest. Generally, I will always be disappointed in how poorly Nina was treated after season 1. She deserved so much more..

idk if suite life on deck was better than the og but by the time I was old enough it was ALL they were showing on disney/family channel, it felt like I could catch so many more episodes of suite life on deck at its peak compared to suite life of zack and cody at its peak. so it could just be that people remember the re-runs more (although I have got to agree that both shows are pretty good in their own right)
