My Daddy was raised in Simmsport and hearing him talk reminds me so much of my grandpaw Mayeux. I grew up eating squirrels, but I haven't had any for a while. They sure look good though! Bon appetit!

I stumbled across this video, I've heard of mr. Calvin. I live just 30 min from simesport. I'm in Marksville. You don't hear to many on this KZbin that talk the French he is talking. We talk the same French.

When he said "if the limits 10 I go out three times a day and get 30" that's some Savage shit right there. Can't do that shit nowadays.

I lived in Louisiana for half my life. I grew up eating Cajun & Creole food's. I loved it all i miss that food. I grew up eating squirrel my mom used to cook it for me & i loved it she made it in a pressure cooker & made it fricassee style. I could almost eat the bones it was so soft & tasty we also ate plenty of crawfish back then. I love Crawfish still. But in Florida It's getting too expensive now !!!

your accent is soo thick that it looks like a French trying to speak English and an American trying to speak French

He speaks English with a typical Southwestern accent. There is nothing foreigner about this. Regarding his French, Louisiana French is descended from the Napoleon era.
@russellsolomon61383 жыл бұрын
@@rudyhowie It's not southwestern, that is a DEEP SOUTH Cajun accent!
@tbcottonhead41753 жыл бұрын
@@russellsolomon6138 I could be wrong, but I bet they meant southwestern Louisiana. Like Jennings, Crowley area.
