Cake mix Cookies 🍪😋 for Easter✝️

Hey there Amy! Lookin’ great as always! I see you found that Dolly coconut cake mix❤️ I always have some in my pantry, gotta try this with your cookie recipe now🤠 As I type this, that delicious “Worth the Wait Coconut Cake” is chillin’ in the fridge. My hubby Bob helped me make it on Good Friday…oh my goodness, we tried that frosting and WOW! DELICIOUS!!! I do believe we will make it all the way to Easter dinner though. I used some vanilla sugar that I always make during the holidays for the frosting. If you’ve never done that, it’s easy: In a quart mason jar add: 3 1/2 cups granulated sugar Split 1 whole GOOD QUALITY vanilla bean scrape out the “caviar” into the sugar throw the rest of the bean in there too. Put the lid on and shake well every day. It’s important to shake the jar at least once a day because the moisture will cause it to harden a bit. I use a wooden spoon to tap the sides if it gets stubborn. It’s best to wait a month (or longer) before using it. This makes great gift for Christmas bakers! I love it, good in coffee, whipped cream, custards, pretty much anything! You asked what we were making for Easter, well, here’s our menu: Spicy pork tenderloin Mango salsa Fresh fruit salad Croissants Baked sweet potatoes with cinnamon butter Deviled eggs Worth the wait coconut cake A very blessed Easter to you and yours Amy❤️✝️ and also to all the ladies who follow you! It's 3:30 am in Ky., Good Friday night and I just finished one of your dessert recipes to take to a family meal tomorrow. The love of my life for the last 40 yrs is recuperating from cancer surgery so this Easter weekend I'm so very grateful for the love of God who allowed us to get good news from the doctor. It's just us-no kids except for the most amazing nieces and nephews and friends anyone could have. They have looked after us with such caring that we have just been so touched. I just wanted to say thank you to you Amy. When I was scared to death and so worried I would check to see what you were cooking that might tempt his appetite and you always made me take a deep breath and smile. Love to make cake mix cookies. I have started putting parchment paper on the cookie sheets no matter what I'm cooking. Love the shirt!! We had traditional ham, green beans, hash brown casserole, dressing, which I usually don't make at Easter, spoon rolls, yummy, and banana pudding.

I have never seen cookies be made so quickly! You are the bomb lady! I have also never seen this recipe! It looks so easy. Funny story: we did something similar one year, we had all the grands for a huge egg hunt one year. I mean my mother in law would do 12 dozen eggs and then other people would bring eggs also. We would have about 20 kids in all, it was a huge event. Well once we cleaned up all the candy wrappers and divided out eggs to send home with all the kids, we stored away the baskets and blow up bunnies. Well, the next year when we grabbed all the supplies to start decorating...what did we find....an orange egg that had gotten left behind in a basket. It had gone through all of the year and never cracked. It was too funny and we made sure it didn't get into the current years egg bunch!! 🤣🤣

You know it doesn't matter what you have to eat for Easter,wheather its a pot of beans and fried potatoes and corn bread,or a relly nice ham with all the trimmings, it's the fact that you get together with family sometimes during the holidays. And just like ke Christmas,we don't want to loose sight of what our Lord Jesus Christ did for us,i know sometimes I take the sacrifice for granted. I enjoyed these cookies recipes.

Well Amy, you really have taught me to have fun with cake mix cookies. Even my granddaughter makes the dark chocolate ones. It's a tie for me between the dark chocolate and your pumpkin spice crackle ones. Can't remember if it was pumpkin but we loved them. Our church has a big Easter dinner and egg hunt after service and these cookies would be great. Happy Easter to you both.

I am cooking a ham, with Angel eggs call Mom green beans fresh that I can karma some fried apples what I can for apple pie filling. Banana pudding, add a banana pudding for my neighbors. I'm so glad you turned off the mixer Before plugging it in. I was envisioning that scene from Maximum Overdrive ( a Steven King story ).
