To those unhappy with the video, I'll repost a previous response for clarity. I appreciate the passion of your response, and you clearly adore Juventus in a very special way. Covering a topic like this, with such sensitivity, is never easy. It promotes a variety of differing opinions, as I believe the comments proves. My remit was very clear and defined, and I made sure to run it by a prominent Juve fan I respected to be sure of them. Unfortunately, when it comes to including all of your other suggestions it just becomes impossible. I had a very specific brief and I adhered to that brief. I think even you can see a lot of your suggestions pertain to opinion, or speculation, which in a video like this would be unfair, both to Juve fans and non-Juve fans eager to learn more about the situation. I can accept some poor wording may have mislead you here, and for that I apologise. I'm always trying to get better. However, I also firmly believe this video will have sparked curiosity in a lot of people and likely sent them on a journey to read about some of the theories you outlined here. In that regard, I feel this was a success, and although you may dislike me right now, I hope at least you can respect the answer I'm giving you. Thanks Kris

@guesswho16304 жыл бұрын
No, the only reason they are hated there, is because they win most of the times. People always use to hate the best teams. Bayern, ManU, Real, Juve etc. But not many want to admit it.
@interpersempre86254 жыл бұрын
Guess Who? It’s not trust me. Ac Milan always won a lot no one hated them back then apart from inter because it was a city rivalry. Same thing with inter only juve and Milan hated us because of big teams and city rival rivalries. Italians don’t hate juve because they win! Yes they do win a lot but never honestly
@guesswho16304 жыл бұрын
@@interpersempre8625 No, they dont win enough the have as many haters. Juve had more fights for championship agains more teams. They(the haters) failed to get their sometimes "one in a life time chance" to win the title because juve was better and therefore hate juve. Also they dont want to blame themselves for playing bad, they dont want to admit not to be the best, so they simply say juve is cheating, to keep their illusion being the best . Its always easier to blame the winners, instead to admitting not being good enough.

@@guesswho1630 u dont live in italy so u dont know the emotional part of the football here, therefore u just rely on basic statistics. after calciopoli juventus was total shit, they started their current winning streak on 2011 but juve was already hated wayy before then and wayyyy before calciopoli and the main reason was the same that lead to calciopoli. juve was ridiculed for their kits (search what "gobbi" means), for their players (nedved memes) and for the special treatments referees has gave them (example milan-juve muntari's gol) and for that juve is often called "ladri" which means robbers. their victory literally represent only the 5% of the total hate they get here in italy. even their monobrow president became a meme lol alongside with antonio conte. just search those 3 things in brackets and you'll finally know especially muntari's gol since you say teams blame juve for cheating just cause they play bad lol. no wonder serie A was one of the first to use VAR, and refs such as orsato, who directed the ucl final in a questionable way, mazzoleni and many more are known to favour juve when they have the chance even nowadays they still do
@guesswho16304 жыл бұрын
@@chakra_x u just dont want to admit, that u are a bad Loser. I am watching Juve since i can remember. I have mostly watched them on italian channels so I know the passions italian people have. (Even on sundays, when juve wasnt playing, we were watching other calcio related things, like the shows on Rai, except when there was Formula 1 or Moto GP) My Grandparents were from italy so my family was pretty near to iralian culture. I know Juve were hated even before calciopoli, because they were the best team in this time too. Just look at the poor arguments hater a coming to "diss" juve. They are saying, that we only win because of penaltys or referee decisions, but they never watch juve games. Take a look at the statistics of the penaltys of the past 10 years. U will see that these arguments are bullshit. Since the winning streak, the opponents are getting more penaltys than juve, especially Milan, Napoli etc. altough Juve got more wins/goals/points. (Normally the winning team should also have more penaltys, because in theory they are more often in penalty area and therefore the probability is higer to get penalys, simple maths) But statistics dont count for haters, they are just searching for excuses, bescause they are lying to themselves and dont want to admit, that they just arent good enough to stand a chance against Juve. Now they even start copying us, buying our players, managers, stuff,... to try to keep up.

I respect Milan's achievements but I have no respect at all for Inter's they just climbed the ladder Juve built. You Say every team has its prime but you seem to forget that juventus's prime was actually when the team has Viera and Emirson in midfield and zlatan in front. Juventus was argubaly the strongest team in Europe and goes head to head with Barca and Manchester United. But this shameful trial did the biggest mistake to Italian football. True Inter won the Champion's league after they fixed this entire calciopoli play. but what happened then? Italian football is bottom rock and ironically the only team that plays to represent italy in the highest levels is the same team FIGC stabbed in the back just to make Inter the Number 1 team. Inter is a bad team, am not saying this because am biased, am saying this because this club has always had bad management without long term plans whatsoever. I am welling to see teams like juventus and Manchester united suffer in rebuilding the team because I know that those big clubs work as organizations and will always come back to the top. ciao brother ;)

Benfica is actually doing that in Portugal now, some emails got out revealing they had previlleged a relations with league officials, to referees, punishments and league control, by influencing the grades of the reeferes, which defines, which ones are depromoted and which ones go to European competitions. They are also influencing punishments on football agents. On top off all that, they control the Lisbon sports media, as well has the TV media in some cases when the topic is football. The real difference, is that they are powerful and they have most of the fans in Portugal, which makes them avoid the popular demand for justice and keep the simpatizer authorities from doing their job promptly. Unfortunately, Portuguese justice is not like Italy at all, so justice will never be served, like we also saw with Porto some years ago, where the proofs were bigger, but desconsidered, has they were obtained for another investigation and not of Porto, becoming invalid has proof. Anyway , they were considered guilty, but the accusations were so few, that they lost some ridiculous points instead of being relegated. Having that in mind, there is not really much hope for justice, for the new criminals. Curiosity: both presidents have criminal records, and they are, accused even of other cases outside futebol.

Brilliant stuff. Corruption really is that insidious bugbear that has dogged soccer at all levels. Its a shame that a sport so beloved worldwide should have such rot within it. Of course other sports have their problems as well. It seems that sadly, where there is money or to be made, the unscrupulous and greedy eventually find willing allies.

Even now, matches in the Italian league are still indicated as Calciopoly, that's the reason why Arabic TV doesn't broadcast the Italian league because Calciopoly is still going on, that's the reason Italy has never been world champion again and even had difficulty in the WC grub phase, and Italian clubs have difficulty in UCL.

Can you imagine the same thing happening to Real, even if the circumstances are exactly the same, so are the proof against the club and the people behind it?! I don't think so! That's why I admire the Italians! AT least they have the decency to admit they did a rime, and punish the culprit! Which is something totally unimaginable for Spain (and many other top leagues, too), and especially for Real, maybe even Barcelona! And for those of you who think that things like this aren't happening in LaLiga, Bundes, and even in the Premier League, well, you're obviously living and watching football matches from these leagues with your heads in the sand!

Forget about the individual clubs for a moment. The damage that this scandal caused to Italian football went beyond measure and Italian football is still reeling from this scandal today. Before the scandal, Italy was one of the best ( if not the best) league in Europe with some great clubs with great histories, a tough league in which any result couldn't be taken for granted and stadia which were always packed to the rafters to watch some of the best players in the game ply their trade. However, after the scandal, players didn't want to be associated with Seria A and Italian football as a whole. The loss of the players and the revelations of the fixing scandals caused a massive loss to the league in both financial and sporting terms from which it has yet not recovered.

All clubs were punished for match fixing, Juventus received the hardest punishment. It came to light Inter Milan were involved in favorable refereeing choices, however, telephone conversations involving the Inter hierarchy were not opened to public as such happened with the other. Inter Milan should've never received that 2005/06 title. It should've gone to the cleanest club.

It's a shame that in this video you only explain "how they do the calciopoli", when a lot more than that happened. Morratti's case is now disappeared, Juve's Trial on court only lasted for two weeks, Juve hired the same person to investigate all serie a tim and juventus did Uploaded the file (the result of investigation), 4 or 5 months ago High ranking serie a officer said juve should not be punished but there was somebody who wanted juve out of the picture. I don't know if you missed all of those facts on purpose or not, but every time somebody talk about calciopoli, I laugh, because they don't know what we know. But I appreciate this video.....

This is not the full story, in your video you missed to mention who was the president of the Italian federation after the scandal. Guido Rossi, a fan of the second team in Milano (that one that plays with blue and black shirts), with heavy links with them, and when it was over, he resigned and went to work for them. The whole process was built not to look for the justice, but one team to benefit from the scandal. That team didn't win the title for 15 years, and they couldn't find any other way to reach to Scudetto. There was data against them too, but it was ignored because the person who performed the wrong doing, Giacinto Facchetti died, and was not able to defend himself. What about the charges that Milan tried to create "an alternative system with the linesmen", these charges were ridiculous, because the phone calls of Galliani were between 2 games (vs Siena and vs Chievo), in which regular goals of Crespo were disallowed because of unexisting offsides. So, according to the charges, Milan created a system, the result of which is the linesmen to disallow Milan's goals, which is ridiculous. I hope one day the whole truth about the scandal will be revealed, and the second team in Milano will receive its deserved punishment too.

I totally agree with you. Inter find it hard to win anything in Serie A during the mid 2000's era and so they resort to creating fake scandals like Farsopoli to bring damage to both AC Milan and Juve. After the statute of limitation has pass, the FIGC prosecutors found that Inter is 100% involved in referee designation but they cannot be relegated because of statute of limitation. Inter should be relegated to Serie Z for their crimes against Italian football.

There's a little mistake when you mention the punishments. As stated on Wikipedia (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006_Italian_football_scandal#Club_punishments) it wasn't AC Reggiana (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A.C._Reggiana_1919) but Reggina Calcio (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urbs_Sportiva_Reggina_1914 -Later refunded as US Reggina). Also, some of the deductions are wrong, but either way, great video, easy to understand.

Italy won the WC in 06. Juve are back on top, Del P, Nedved and Buffon all became Juve Royalty, Inter won the CL with Mourinho, Juve made it to a final, Roma just beat Barca, and there hasn't been any further scandal since. Leave the past in the past I say. Italian fans just have to make sure corruption stays out of their game in the future.

The odd thing is that weeks after those punishments Italy won the FIFA World Cup. Also I'd like to see a video on the Glass ceeling in La Liga - do Barca and Real Madrid choke out the competition within the domestic league?
@rickenfatania7 жыл бұрын
Sevilla won the EL three times in a row. Atletico Madrid also won it and they have made two CL finals AND they're in the last four atm. Don't forget, they also won La Liga fairly recently as well! Spanish teams tend to concentrate on cup competitions more - because Real Madrid or Barca can get knocked out - whereas they can't in the league. Bundesliga and Serie A are much worse, they have become the 'all stars' of their respective leagues.
@ivaneurope7 жыл бұрын
rickenfatania Sorry, but I have to disagree with you. The only reason Sevilla won EL for the past 3 years is because the only viable competition - the English teams - don't give a damn about EL and the rest are too weak. Atletico were beten decisively by Real on both occasions and are distant third with no chance of catching up. Atletico's form is like that of Valencia in the mid-2000's and Deportivo from the late 90's. Atletico will slowly begin to drop once Griezmann accepts Ed Woodward's United offer and Simeone jumps ship to Inter. Sevilla also have troubles - they've lost their transfer guru Monchi to Roma
@rickenfatania7 жыл бұрын
"Atletico were beten decisively by Real on both occasions" It was level after 90 mins and 120 mins last two finals. RM were lucky (Ramos, Header, last minute) and then again on penalties. What matches were you watching? Compare that to Bayern Munich who've lost the past five matches to RM. Atletico have also done better than Barcelona in the CL overall these past four seasons. As for the Europa League, 5 of the last 7 teams to win it were Spanish and NEITHER were Real Madrid or Barcelona. What other league can boast such numbers? It was then end for Atletico when Torres left and Aguero and Falcao and Costa and now Griezmann. If you're going to talk about a glass ceiling at least make sure you get your facts straight, Spanish teams are the best in Europe.

I think what the above fella meant to say, in regards to Real's defeat of AM in 2014 UCL Final was this - It was even up until the end of normal time, I agree. But in extra time you could see Atletico were tired, knackered and RM just carved them up.
