One of the main things that I have noticed here in Georgia with spider mites is by the time they start to wilt down our plants, they’ve already moved on to another part of the field. We normally end up spraying the whole field. Typically we increase water volume to 20 gpa and reduce speed to increase efficacy.

One gal of Ca fertilizer seems like a small amount. I use S and manure to loose extra Ca.

It is which is why we’re doing 2 shots 3-4 weeks apart. Too much calcium at once could do more harm than good

@@conleybanman By using chemigation 1.5 oz/min is just about 1 part per million of calcium nitrate solution. if you have 1200 gpm in that 1/2 miler. That is very easy on the peanuts!

Ok Conley I am a hazmat hauler. And I have a legit question. If it’s calcium then why does it have a corrosive plate on it? If it’s really calcium then it probably shouldn’t have a corrosive placard on it for the public’s safety right?
