Great work jeff. But how did you get those unsuitable surfaces? And is there any way we could access the files of these videos? It would mean a lot to me. Thanks for the great work 👍

Is it possible to extract the quantities separately by sub-category instead of all unsuitable material? and show that in a table.
@JeffBartelsCAD3 жыл бұрын
Yes, to extract the quantities separately you would define each one as a unique material having (if needed) their own subcriteria definitions. The extracted report would list the volume calculations for each defined material. If you'd like to view the table data in the drawing, this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/rWTHdYuhrt58aJI may help.

Hi Jeff, is it possible to create one video where you show how to handle pasted tin surface? I want to find a quick solution for overlapping models. How can you choose which slopes you want to keep, where should the two slopes different models be pruned etc?

Hello Sir. I am a Takeoff clerk. I want to know if there is a way to obtain every cut and fill quantity with Civil 3D ( for commercial projects, restaurants, autoparts stores,etc) needed for an estimation. Like, if I have a PDF or TIFF, can I trace existing vs proposed, and obtain quantities?
