This is the best coverage on youtube. The news stations just have a bunch of weenies out in the field who are afraid to get in close cuz they might get dirty or get their hair messed up.

The joy of the Christmas Valley/Meyers save is that it was mostly the local Tahoe Basin/Northern Nevada crews doing work as the California Machine was largely cut off over the pass. Local knowledge and work ethic in their own backyard paid off.

@franklewis69433 жыл бұрын
At 12:15? It's CA-TMU, not "J". That's one of USFS Tahoe Management Unit's battalion chiefs. They're a different unit than the one responsible for Tahoe National Forest (CA-TNF).

My, My, My are you the angry one. Take the time to review the forestry regulations put in place by the Clinton administration in its final years. @@RainsWorldVegasSlots At the time the Clinton administration was making these rules I was aquatinted with a US Forest service architect who attended the meetings. The comments made too me at the time were as best as I remember: “These damm Fools involved with the various conservation groups have absolutely no common sense and the government representatives are no better. What they are proposing will destroy our national forests by fire and the public utilities will most likely be blamed .”
