Step #1 is getting into med school, which is a struggle requiring 3.8+ GPA, 1000’s of hours of volunteering and leadership, shadowing doctors, interviews etc. and THEN you apply for residency. The ‘easy’ way into psych is becoming a psychologist after 8 years of school. Not excel so well you not only get into med school, but get residency in a specialty.

This is dishonest. Ramsey did not change his format because of some revelation about the human condition. He did it because it made people watch and it made him and the production company a lot of money. If you watch the original UK run of kitchen nightmares, its a lot of people who just needed guidance from a mentor. Caleb, unfortunately, is doing the same. Increasingly his guests feature the mentally ill and those who are going to provoke a reaction of incredulity among his fans. It is becoming hard to watch, ans frankly feels exploitative.
