She's been going to therapy since she was 16 and all it's done is give her a wider vocabulary to gaslight and manipulate those around her.
@Oliviaandtrina
@Oliviaandtrina 10 ай бұрын
That's what happens when narcissists go to therapy. It actually makes their abuse WORSE. Because they learn better ways to manipulate, go undetected, and learn more psychological tricks. You can tell when someone has done that because they will use therapy words in a way that doesn't fully make sense, and shows a misunderstanding of the word or context its supposed to be used in. You can hear it perfectly while she's talking about her husband.

@@Oliviaandtrinai was thinking the same thing. I notice that she is most likely abusive to her husband too just because of how she speaks about him. At the very beginning of the video where she immediately told Caleb (and all of the internet) that her husband is infertile (or impudent idk) it’s such a personal thing, especially to be sharing right off the bat and telling the whole world that it’s essentially his fault that he can’t perform. But at the same time like 30 minutes later she goes onto say, he’s not her enemy and they’re friends but also he’s her trigger…

Needs a DIFFERENT therapist. But if you have a talent for manipulation, you can scam them. A waste of money but you can have your victim hood validated which for people like Cia is really the goal.

I used to work for a psychologist. Not everyone who asks for help really wants it. A lot of “Yes, but” happens in therapy. The possibility of being healthy instead of a being a victim is incredibly threatening to people like CIA. Her identity is tied into being a victim. No one expects much from a victim.

As a fellow Indigenous woman I was like, "Hey! Cool...a Native on Caleb Hammer!" Unfortunately, this interview was soo embarrassing and it's clear this woman lives in a constant state of victimhood. She is totally the problem and the fact that she sent an email calling Caleb and his team 'the enemies' is the craziest thing I've heard. She can't have come on this channel and not know how Caleb conducts his audits. Also, I'm from a tribe that doesn't provide much assistance to it's members so in my opinion, this gal has no idea how privileged she is to have the financial help and assistance she does from the Eastern Band of Cherokees. With a yearly average payout of $15k from a per cap, having any debt is the most idiotic situation to have put herself in! In fact, it's infuriating to fathom the possibility. In addition, spending irresponsibly after receiving $30k from her Grandma's life insurance...there are just no words. I hope I'm not alone in wondering why this woman decided to do this episode. Part of truly wanting to change and asking for help is accepting accountability for one's actions or mistakes. This woman is not in that mindset and will continue down a financial downward spiral because she sees herself as a victim. Even when discussing the blessing of owning a home she didn't have to work to save for but was from money from her tribe, she could only whine about home maintenance. My gosh! There are a lot of people who would love the problem of owning a home and having to invest money for home improvement. Caleb did a good job of handling this guest despite the constant bs-ing. I hope she is able to climb out of her high-debt situation, but until she can hold herself accountable and stop making excuses, the downward spiral will most likely continue.

Free money would be great for all of us from "good backgrounds" or who have been taught fiscal responsibility. But when you give cash to people raised in and surrounded by poverty (due to ya know...) it's like giving a boat crew with holes in the hull and no rivets more buckets to bail with. Again you don't get an excuse for being a tard but it's like blaming kids in Baltimore or Chicago for being into gang shit the "just get a good job education stay on straight and narrow" when your surrounded by goon life. Again be racist about it or understand the context of red lining and generational trauma and historic oppression.

@thekidd7 From the way she responded, she's using food as an emotional crutch and isn't mentally stable enough to tackle that issue right now. It makes sense. It's difficult to tackle one thing at a time. It's damn near impossible to tackle everything at once. If she can stick to a budget for 3 months, she can consider that aspect stable enough to then look at diet or exercise. So she doesn't have to wait until she's debt free to start addressing her health but trying to overhaul her entire life all at once would be setting herself up to fail.

Evening meals were microwave meals or something tinned mixed with 2 minute microwave rice. It has been a winning strategy. It has kept grocery bills down and I've lost just under a stone in weight. The joke test for BPD is asking the person "how do you react when someone betrays you?" Betrayal is such a strong word that most people won't have an answer, because they don't think that anyone has betrayed them. As someone who used to have her mindset, there is nothing you can do for her - she can only help herself. I get it, I was like that too: everything was always everyone else’s fault, my hands were always tied, I was always the victim, no one else understood my situation, life had done me bad and I couldn’t do anything to help myself because all of it was all too much… yeah, I get it. And it took a really dark struggle through the worst year of my life, almost losing everything because of this toxic mindset, before I finally took accountability for my life and the situations I was in and started to do the work and make the changes that I used to have some excuse for. My life changed for the better. Nothing inherently was different about the workd except my mindset which had gone from an external locus of control to an internal locus of control. And unfortunately that’s the reality - it doesn’t matter if someone else has caused your suffering, it will ALWAYS be your responsibility to help yourself. No one else’s. YOU are responsible for YOUR life. Not your partner, not your parents or friends or boss or abuser or children. No one except YOU. For your ENTIRE life. Once we realise that and stop making excuses for letting other people have so much control over our happiness and decisions, we are finally free ❤

As someone also with her mindset, I lost everything because of it. I actually had to sit down after multiple tantrums to figure out that the problem is me and I couldn't blame others. It was no one's job to listen to my trauma dumping and fix my issues all the while I just kept being the victim, because I would find another thing to be the victim and vent to them about to the point where it was like, 'What else is (my name) going to have issue with today?' And it was embarrassing. In my time alone and without friends or any way to vent to others, I got into therapy. I got diagnosed with Borderline, I bought DBT and CBT workbooks. Now, I'm working on myself every day, going to therapy every week, and investing nearly all my time in starting my business. I barely think about being the victim or venting now, because it was time for me to grow up. She needs to grow up. Once she does that and actually gets that she is the problem and she is making herself the victim out of lies and drama, she will find that she needs to change her mindset. Until then, she will be a professional victim 24/7.

I would love it if the total debt amount and monthly payments were kept permanently listed somewhere on the screen once you start going through the debts. Most of the time, I listen to this while I'm working, and I'm not able to watch the screen consistantly. Regardless, I love this channel!!❤️

My ex-wife used to say the same thing. The problem is therapy only helps if you're still aware and not always playing the victim.

To be fair, I have dropped a ton of therapists because they said they didn’t know how to help me because I was already so “self aware”. BUT that is not an excuse at all, I kept trying until I found one that could work with that. She seriously needs help and has convinced herself that everyone but her is the problem.
