Thank you for your video on the Muse Two. After seeing your Muse Twos I became intrigued and when I got the chance to buy a pre-loved Muse Two on eBay, at a good price, I jumped on the opportunity. It arrived today and I’m very pleased. It’s not as structured as my other bags, but I expected that after watching your video. It’s something different that I did not have in my collection

I do own a YSL Muse 🖤 (not the Muse Two, just the Muse 😄), I love that you cover these "forgotten" bags aswell, we need more inspo here on KZbin for bags, that we can hunt down for amazing prices on the preloved market. All in for value for money 🙌rather than "hottest trend bags as not that great quality anymore"

Love tom ford era ysl, but the pilati era muse has popped up on my radar as a "kelly" alternative. I think your version was the one kate moss had in the ad campaign. Pilati era bag i liked was a purple suede shoulder bag with oversized tassels in the front. I used to have the matching heeled loafers from his debut collection. Unfortunately those heels were so uncomfortable that I did end up reselling them--but that bag makes me nostalgic of the design.

You're right- this is the exact model Kate Moss modeled, and I think most of the PR photos were this colorway as well. I'll have to find this tassel bag, I love tassels. 😍 And I highly recommend the Muse Two, it's a fabulous bag, and I would love to add more of them to my colleciton!

This is a really neat bag, it does remind me of Hermès. This might be one that I would consider if I came across it! The leather looks supple, not dry at all.

You forgot to mention the YSL Messenger bag, from the same era! Back when I was a teen, I was so obsessed with this bag which was worn by Kate Moss or Sienna Miller. Obviously, I didn’t have the money or get the nerves to ask my parents to buy it. 10 years later, I could found one in grey suede and croc embossed on eBay and bought it. Still love it to this day even though I rarely wear it. But it has such a sentimental value as it was my very first luxury handbag and my dream bag as a teen ☺️

You influenced me to hunt down couple of handbag I missed. I bought a PROENZA SCHOULER PS11 Classic (not the mini) and BALENCIAGA FIRST last Sunday. Hi Marilou! Greece, that sounds lovely! Hmmm, what a dilemma.... 🤔 Do they have little holes in the corners? Or are they just looking worn? I have seen these bags with little canvas patches over the corners, which looks fine. I think a better way to fix a hole in the corner would be to have a cobbler or handbag repairer (is repairer a word? lol) tuck the corner in a bit and sew them so the hole are gone- kind of like Longchamp corner repairs are made. Does this make sense? Let me know what you decide to do and how it turns out!

Hello there, thank you for your update about this bag. Could you please tell if this bag is heavy in itself? I had weight issues with my Mulberry Bayswater as the leather was so heavy in itself and it was never a pleasure to carry that bag, so I parted myself with the Bayswater. I have found this YSL bag in black leather on vestiare and thinking of buying, but would like to hear from you about the weight etc. Please advice.

Thank you! This bag is very light on it's own in the canvas version. The all suede version has a bit more heft to it, but it's still manageable in my opinion. I love the Muse II, it's one of my favorite bags, for sure! I hope you get it and enjoy it!

Hello Caleb, Obe again it seems that we have the same taste for bags ! I have a 2 questions about your bag. I have just bought one Muse yesterday in a corner at Galerie Lafayette in France . The quality of the bag is Nice but I Doubt that it's a real. Would it be possible to have a photo of the interior of the bag and the studs underneath your bag, it seems that in the rezl bags the studs in the Middlle has YSL written mine hasn't.
