I'm no fan of the Hawks, but you can't just sit on a guy. I feel like I see this several times a season and i don't get why its not called for interference or something.

I hate the retaliation calls. The fact that a player can just sit on a guy and not get a call, but the guy who then responds to that does, is ridiculous. It's like the refs intentionally don't call things just to goad the other team into retaliating.

Wait, Sharks coach is complaining while his player did sit on another guy for about 10 seconds, and then throws a punch when someone shoves him off his teammate?

The official was entirely responsible for this mess. The ref should have been penalized for worthlessness.

Sitting on a top player and waiting for the play to move on is totally legal apparently. Good to know for playoff time. Teams who don't use this strategy are missing out.

NHL loves to preach about keeping superstars safe but then you see this, its the opposite, the more of a star you are the worse you have to deal with this shit.

Good stuff. They gotta start protecting him more. That said Bedard also needs to stop flopping around like a fish outta water. He falls down a bit to easy.
