Your manicuring book from your school should be your go-to for your written, mine was Milady manicuring. Also Quizlet had some digital flashcards that were helpful to me, just search your textbook on there and u should find something! Best wishes

Is it cheating if I put an extremely thin layer of acrylic over the nails cause i'm scared the acetone is gonna eat away at the nail tips when removing the polish.

I’m not 100% sure but I believe you can get marked down for it. The acetone won’t eat the tip away, it would honestly need some soaking to be eaten away. Just don’t put a lot of acetone to the point that it’s dripping everywhere. Good luck!

Hi, & no a jar of disinfectant isn’t needed for the test. That is why we the “to be disinfected” bag is used, to put those implements that would be put in the solution in. ✨

No problem! Wearing an apron isn’t a requirement (at the fairfield location where i took my exam). Dehydrator can be alcohol or acetone depending on the section you’re using it in & what you need to use!

it depends bc you have a certain amount of time for the sections but if everyone finishes then you move on. On the NIC it tells you the estimated time for each section
