Tons and tons and TONS of people are going to retire early if they can, or buy a place out in a rural place where they can work remotely and be at least partially self-sufficient, or will just not be able to rent or buy anywhere and will be homeless/hobos. This is going to make the 1930s look mild.

2:51 Income equality? It's not about income equality. It's someone living in a city that one cannot afford to live in! $3,200 for an apartment is insane. At that price point, I'd expect only the upper-middle class and wealthy people can do it. Living in a city like Galt or Lodi is doable on $3,200 a month. Not only will that pay for rent, it also pays for food, utilities, gas, with money left over for entertainment and savings.

Of course they raised the rent $100.00 right away and 3 months later another $150.00. 3 months later they began charging for “water $17.54, sewer $35.91 & garbage $25.78” plus monthly svc charge averaging $90.00 extra a month. It’s all leagal accept two thing’s, they charge a single person in a one bedroom the same specific utilities as two or more people in a one bedroom. Minimum wage in Nevada is 7.50 and hour. They brought many “illegals” from CA to work here in Nv...it kinda bugs me. Anyway, I’m am grateful to still have a home and always hope to.

If you can't afford a million dollar home, and private school for your children, your quality of life such as public schools, parks, commute, etc will be better somewhere else. I don't think it should be a question for people who weren't born and raised here. The answer should be no.
