I do love Mesa/Boogie (have a MkV, Fillmore 100 and D-800+ and would buy new products without a doubt) and I also understand that the videos should not only promote the amp, but also the guitars made by Mesa´s owner (Gibson)... I’ve got an f50 and a maverick 4x10, can’t stop using the maverick, yeah it’s bulky, yeah the f50 is heavy but if you’re thinking about going Mesa, do it. You’ll never need another amp, they always work, if you lose power it’s prob the pedalboard just plug direct in and finish the show. You’ll smile the whole time.

Love my 20 watt for keeping the volume down at my rehearsal space but it’s underpowered for anything but the smallest gigs. I wish I would have purchased the 40 watt. If you’re a bedroom player - good amp.

Hi Daniel, Thanks for checking in about MESA Hollywood. We packed the shop up and moved the MESA gear out to the Gibson Garage in Nashville. As you can see by this video, Dinesh made his way there as well. At this time, there are no plans to reopen the shop. Hello Edward, With the popularity of our California Tweed 4:40, we've had a lot of players ask us if we could capture that same magic in a smaller format. Our friends at Jensen Speakers are producing an amazing sounding 10" Blackbird speaker. We were already floored by the 12" Blackbird, so it didn't seem too big a challenge to scale the Cali Tweed down in size while retaining much of what guitarists love about the 4:40. And... to share a bit of the inside story, a number of us here at Boogie wanted this amp for ourselves.

These gibson videos are obnoxious. The old mesa boogie videos were super helpful when shopping for an amp and super helpful after you owned the amp. They took their time. They slowly and thoroughly taught you how to use the amp and showed you some of the quirks. This video is a guy shouting marketing at you and playing some guitar. It's really lame.
