Why would I get a 2C+ reissue over this seriously.

To me the fillmore 50 sounds good into a brighter closed back cabs, with a eq in the loop. I am not a fan of the black shadow speaker, too dark sounds like a blanket over the cabinet. I can tell you it wont sound this bright in the room even if you dime the treble and presence as it does in this video through the black shadow.

Still convinced is 90% in his fingers. I have a LS Special, delay, AT pedal and a guitar that has the same pickups in it (custom built) and I sound nothing like this. LOL

Sounds great...I just don't know how well this would drive or be loud enough at 8 ohms.....I have a 600 watt rated cab at 8 ohms....

They fired Fluff for this guy? And disgraced Boogie by firing Randall smith? Shame on you Bully Guitars!

For all Mesa boogie purists; please take a vote if you would want the company to feature legendary artists beyond Metallica, Santana, and the Foo Fighters to demonstrate these amps that helped establish their music and careers. At least there’s the three-part documentary series about the general history of Mesa Boogie from the beginning with Santana, James and Kirk giving their commentary, and the rectifiers onwards.
