Bro add some sound foam on your walls and you won't get reverb back into your mic. Sounds tinny without it. Just so you know, I am from Ohio and moved to California. I find the opposite is true. California has a great job market, but the downturn is current rent prices. Weird laws that Ohio doesn't have tend to take a bit to get used to such as the bag law. You have to pay 10 cents for a bag at the grocery store. The food scene is amazing here. I have found many restaurants that offer unique dishes that Ohio can not match. My favorite is a local Brazilian joint! The weather is arguably better here. I don't miss the snow! The endless tourist options you have is amazing! I love that I can save big bucks on plane tickets because LAX is only 2 hours south of me. We have Disneyland and the other fun parks to visit. Ohio def has us beat with Cedar Point though!. Don't forget that Ohio has beaches as well. I live 15 minutes away from my local beach. All in all, both places offer amazing choices. Just depends on the area in either state.

Thanks for the feedback I will definitely improve the audio quality. Yes I would say cost of living is much higher in California from friends I have who have bought houses there and everyday living expenses. Yes I heard California has some of the best restaurants in the world. Ohio has an underrated food scene I will say. There’s no doubt the weather is better if you don’t like the change of seasons.

I'm quite the opposite. Lifelong Angelino looking to move to Columbus. The cost of living, crowdedness, traffic, and rampant homelessness simply isn't worth all the benefits anymore. I like spacious living and Ohio hits the spot there. Los angeles and the rest of California is in steep decline and Ohio is in rapid development. In California you have to compete and work your butt off for your piece of the pie. In Ohio you can grow a bigger pie and live semi-retired. If the pain of snow and cold winters is all I need to deal with for freedom of time, then I guess I should start packing my bags.

Not a fan of the implied California slander. Columbus is an okay place that has its merits. It is also has far more crime than places where Californians are likely coming from: LA (where I came from) and the bay area. People are likely moving to Ohio from California for career (as I did) or housing affordability. The problems with California housing affordability are everywhere BTW. They are just more acute in California because there has always been high demand to live in California. You see the problem of housing affordability now everywhere including in Columbus (how TF can locals afford to buy a house here?)... it's highly compensated California transplants who can afford to buy a home now.

Hello Josh I agree Columbus does have areas where crime is higher than areas in California most likely. I didn’t slander California I was speaking on my experience helping people relocate to the area who have told me their experiences.

With Intel moving into town, I dont see the wage gap being very far off from California in the near future. Lots of exciting developments happening in Columbus that isn't happening in California anymore. The biggest misconception about California is that we all make multiple 6 figures+, when only about maybe the top 20% do. Crime is everywhere in the US, but only California has tent cities.

Hey, I'm California born and raised and I moved from, and I've lived in and around LA, and I've stayed in Columbus and Cleveland for a while, and I don't see what you mean by some parts are more dangerous😅 I've experienced and 10x more crime in and around LA than I ever did in OH. Not saying you're lying but its weird how different our experiences are haha

@@ScrimBeat I moved to Columbus from LA back in 2013. Crime back then in Columbus was MUCH worse than in LA. I looked into the stats just now and LA/Columbus are now comparable because Columbus has gotten better over the last decade whereas LA has backslid. I think LA will see improvement for this year's stats because of Karen Bass's efforts on homelessness. I still feel safer in LA than I do in Columbus. Much less gun ownership in LA for instance.

When he says Columbus, I think he means the suburbs of Columbus. Columbus has a high crime rate, bad public schools, and parking can be difficult.

I didn’t make a video on the difference. I don’t speak on crime rates but like every big city some people prefer the suburbs over the heat of the city.

Cincinnati sucks. Don't move here, it's a high crime city, with huge issues as far as safety.

I actually moved away from Columbus due to cold weather to Hawaii
@MovingtoOhio10 ай бұрын
Yes it definitely gets freezing here. How have you liked Hawaii ?

Hawaii is on the other extreme.. not recommended if you want to save some or any money at all. If you're single and don't have a family Hawaii is the best otherwise not
