Thanks for this quick review and feedback for this product. I will definitely order mine TODAY!!!! Also, I have recently purchased and installed the 7Jurock Version B windscreen (20") and I have nothing but positive reviews for it, except for one con (minor). Thanks for this info.

@@californiahikebike Version B is the wider windscreen without the vent. My only con is water comes up from underneath the windscreen when it is fully deployed when it rains. I don't if you had this experience with yours.

Great review. Thank you! Before I picked up my Grand America, I swapped out the floorboards for ilium Hwy Pegs and engine guards. Together with my 7Jurrock and Dunlop Roadsmart 4 tires, I feel the buffeting that's left is totally manageable at higher speeds. I felt the stock Bridgestones were crap too! Feels like a different bike in dirty air now. I may add the Aerowings based on your experience.

Hey Jonathan I appreciate the comments. There are a lot of things BMW did right and a couple things they didn't. Under the didn't list for me would definitely be the dirty air wobble and putting those crappy stock tires on. Thanks for stopping by! I have a 2018 GTL and encounter the buffeting over 84ish mph. I have ignored it because I'm normally under that speed. I'm looking to get a Grand America and will probably install that windshield and side deflectors.

You will still notice a difference coming from the GTL but worth it. I ride with some guys that ride GTL'S and they are impressed with the GA. Enjoy!

Good day. I am new to the channel because I am looking into buying a 2018 K1600b GA. I like to research and KZbin is a great way to find out information. Of course it was alarming to hear about the wobble don't need anymore hinderances with riding than we all ready deal with. Thank you for your information can I ask what is your name. Also thanks to Johnathan S Banks for the tire recommendations.

@@californiahikebike Would you buy this bike all over again? Its perfect except that wobble. I am looking a used 1600B but Im scared of the wobble. I took it for a ride but not long enough to notice anything. I wasn't on the highway. I would think some kind of front fender spoiler would help.

@@briannash5736 I would not hesitate. Now if you asked for the first hour after I bought it before I acclimated to it maybe different answer. I came off of multiple Harleys over the years to my first BMW which was an R1200RT. Traded it for this K1600B GA and after that first hour I never looked back. It's the most fun bike I have ever owned. Hands down. I addressed some add ons that helped the wobble. Check out this playlist to look them up: kzbin.info/aero/PLFoJLrFYs8ghGPbnzXf0fyTwtHULQoEiD

@@californiahikebike Im also looking at the indian challenger and it doesn't have the wobble and has forward controls I felt more confident riding that but I have a old harley and want something new and that 6 cylinder engine and the shift assist has a addicting sound. this bike had the quad remus exhaust on it. @@briannash5736 When I first bought it I remember it sounding like a jet when I got on the throttle. I think the Indian is in the same category as the Harley as far as riding style. The riders on both of those bikes just kinda watch as I cruise by them with zero effort on the freeway. And in the twisties you never look back. I actually feel like my bike rides better in the twisties when my wife is with me. We did a 10 day trip from Central Cal to Yellowstone and back and it was so comfortable (With the RDL seat) she kept falling asleep but never in danger of falling off. BMW engineers ignored wind tunnel reports for the Grand America. I would start with the wind screen and tires. No way, I'm adding that much ugly to my bike. I can live with the minute buffeting on my 2023 GTL.

I don't feel it on my helmet at all. I feel it on the front end mostly when approaching a big rig or when riding thru a strong gust. The windscreen and wings help a lot but don't 100% alleviate.
